Ok, so I am no Bill Gates, but after doing alot of research on the internet I figured out what my problem was. On my laptop I am running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista. In order to utilize all areas of the activity manager, you have to have the latest version of Java, in addition to Adobe Flash Player. HOWEVER, Adobe Flash Player is not yet compatible with 64-bit web browsers (i.e. like my Firefox or Internet Explorer). So I was unable to download the Adobe Flash Player. Apparently, there is a way you can use the regular 32-bit Internet Explorer, but my laptop was essentially stuck and would not let me remove the adobe flash player I attempted to download. SO, I moved on to my desktop computer which is running Windows XP. I updated my Java software, and installed the Adobe Flash Player. I then installed the syncing software and connected my GWF. After my activity manager launched when I clicked on the 'Nutrition' link, I was not even seeing what I was seeing previously, it automatically asked me to update my daily caloric intake (i.e. I track on Fitday so I did not want to log each meal in here and thus changed my preferences to reflect this). So, I input my calories and voila!
At the end of the day it had nothing to do with the Body Media software not being compatible with web browser, but had to do with the limitations of Adobe Flash Player on 64-bit browsers.
Ok, very technical I know but I hope it can help out some one else in the future and prevent them from experiencing my frustration!
My GWF is only at 83% charge right now. I am going to catch the end of criminal minds and hopefully it'll be at 100% then I can put it on and get going
Thanks for all the suggestions!
YAY!
