Carol - I hope you'll be able to take a day off soon, it sounds like you need a bit of a break. That was a good idea to share the almond joy bar with your DH. I'm with you - 'a little bit of what you like does you good'. I know what you mean about shoes needing to be extra comfy for exercise, it can make a big difference as to how much we can do.
Nikki - 2.6 lbs. in two weeks is good progress - at least you're moving in the right direction again.
for your doctor's visit.Judy - I don't know what I'd do without Curves. It's the only exercise I've ever stuck to and I've been going faithfully for 2-1/2 years now. I had a frozen shoulder from my surgery and now have complete range of motion. It's also helped my arthritis a lot. What I like best is you can be in and out in about 45 minutes (including stretching) and not have to fiddle around with setting the weights like in a regular gym. Thanks for asking about my foot - it's still a bit swollen from the flight to California. I seem to have some edema going on. That's why I don't travel by air much anymore - I have such bad circulation in my legs.
Mirabai - Hi!
I hope you did ok with your business lunch and dinner with your friends. The four pounds I gained when I went to California last weekend is mostly gone, but I'm still up 1.5 pounds from my last weigh-in. I think I'm still holding on to some water weight because I've been on plan, so hopefully it will be down a bit more by tomorrow when I weigh in "officially".
Goodluck everybody!
