Does anyone actually play Monopoly any more ? How about Chinese Checkers ?

I am beginning to think not. Haven't played chinese checkers in years either...loved it....."hey mom! Jeffrey's eating the marble!"

I don't go for those serious games like bridge or chess, I would rather play rummy or some other simple game, nothing that takes too much thinking.

Good morning from waterlogged Delta! For the first time in its 179 year history, the grandstand show got rained out! There will be lots of gloomy faces in the Fair office this morning so I plan to avoid going there unless paged.

My visitors left late last night so today it will be just me and the doggage who go to the kennel this afternoon. I have construction starting at 7 tomorrow morning and decided it would be better to have them out of the way for the first week. I plan to survive the week with ear plugs and Scotch! (I'm adding a 14 x 16 room with an 8 x 16 deck - a studio/sewingroom for now but it may be a bedroom later if I ever get too old to climb the stairs.)

Bargoo Have you ever played ROOK? My parents used to play that years ago with his cousin and his wife. My ex and I played it briefly with another couple.

I vaguely remember Rook. Lately at game night at church we play Baloney, known in other circles as BS.. That gets a lot of laughs and can played by old and young as well.
