Nancy: I'm glad you are taking this so well. You definately should get a 2nd opinion. I'm done with kids, and still doing all I can to keep my girlie parts. I have the same problem as you, only much smaller. I'm close enough to menopause they aren't even considering serious surgery for it...just a method of stopping the bleeding. I hope it all works out for you.
Ammi: It appears the weight gain may stick. So much for the plateau being over!
I dropped 1 lb by noon yesterday, but got on the scale this morning and am still the same as I was then. I don't think I'm going to be able to just call it water! On the up side...it's only 248.2, which may be two up, but it isn't 250 again...(yeah, that's the up side.
) To take my own advice...I'm concentrating on the fact that I am getting healthier! I did 7 minutes on the
machine last night and it was better than before. Not too long ago, I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the things I do now.Garnet: I had to laugh about your son and you in the sports bra. My DS is only 10 and he's pretty used to seeing me wearing as little as possible. I do the
eliptical in leggings and a sports bra. I also tend to wander about in my shortie nightgowns or a t-shirt and undies. I'm waiting for the day when he gets grossed out by it!
Congrats to all the losers! To those needing support -
! Well, even though I ate under points and drank plenty, the weight seems to be hanging on. Tomorrow is the official WI and the person who loses least (or gains most) has to bring a "healthy snack" for the group. The last lady brought fruit cocktail. Any ideas? (Not that I'm being negative or anything!) Got to run. By for now!

I'm sure you will see a HUGE loss next month.
