Hi Everyone
I'm not doing very good with my eating this week and my stupid, rotten scale keeps saying 263.6 lbs.

Oh well, I guess that I'll just have to be more vigilant about what goes in my mouth.
As far as losing weight too fast--I talked to the gym manager about it--he said that they tell you 1-2 lbs. a week because they figure that with moderate exercise and modifying your diet that people will be able to lose 1-2 lbs. without any real problems. He basicly said that you can lose weight faster if you're bigger and that it probably won't hurt you because you have so much to lose. He's not saying that you should lose 100 lbs. in a month

, but he is saying that you can safely lose 3-4 lbs. on some weeks and it won't really hurt you if you're following a healthy diet and exercise program. And for those cardio lovers out there--if you add some strength training in it will help you to lose the 3-4 lbs. instead of just 1-2 lbs. Not to mention the fact that you're toning those beautiful muscles of yours.
I have to go, but I wanted to add my 2¢ about what he told me. Keep up the good work everyone and I think it was Lilion who had the disappointing weigh in

try not to be too disappointed. You are probably gaining some muscle and that's why the scale is being evil to you. In a way, it's a good thing.
Keep up the good work everyone.

I'll talk to you later if I can.
Vicki
