Hang in there, Lace! TOM can be horrible for sticking on plan. Try to just up the protein intake (I try to have one of those roasted chickens around just for me to pick at all day) and then might treat myself to a spoon of PB and savor it a long time if nothing else seems to be working. Not the best choice, I know, but waaaay better then all the other things that voice in my head is telling me to stuff in my face.
I hear ya on the rain, Robin! I was telling the boys that they had better start gathering the wood for the ark building project we will need to start ASAP! Geeeeze, a break in the storms would be nice about now. I think a great way to spend time and get to know someone is to take nice long walks in the park but Rob and I haven't gotten to take ONE park walk yet! Grrrrr!
Em - *Big hug* Robin has said some profound things. I think we can all read them and glean something from them but maybe not until we are ready. You know, we are all individuals and will all approuch our goals in different timetables and ways. I do what Robin does with the emotional eating. When all the other 'redirection' stuff doesn't work and I feel like I'm going to just 'lose it', I will eat something. I try to make it be a good food choice and I don't beat myself up about it. I just recognize the fact that I am making progress and doing better then I used to. But hang in there, Em. We are here for ya when/if you need us.
I better run. I'm getting my tootsies prettied as Rob is taking me to the local indian casino tomorrow night for NYE - plus I need to try to find a sexy(!) top to wear with my jeans and strapy sandals!

) They even suggest watering the lawn in case a fire starts. Isn't that weird? Picture someone standing outside watering their lawn on December 29th.
