Feeling okay. Hate cleaning like I am a kid again ( I would sleep outside in the boat instead of doing the dishes). To think I once was a cleaner, it might have subconsciously made me hate it ...? I get nauseous at rich smells and I'm only 10 pounds off my weight when giving birth to my first so Im a bit worried.

No one can tell Im pregnant, like last time. I was 9 months and people just thought I had a fat guts. At least this time Im prepared for the non reaction. All the best to you guys...some of you have a similar due date to mine 6/6/06. Pretty cool birth date if it happened

In three pregnancies, I've had exactly two people notice I was pregnant. Both in this last pregnancy. Quite a bit towards the end too, the first one at about 36 weeks.

My level 2 ultrasound is in the morning and my excitement is growing to nervousness now. It's been nearly 11 years since I've had one at this point and then 5 weeks later, I delivered the twins prematurely. Also there's the issue with the name, we had names and now DH says he hates my girl name and it breaks my heart cause I have wanted a girl forever. I have a daughter but she's a twin to her brother and I"ve never had a girl by itself. Crazy sounding, I know, but I do have 2 boys already.

Sabra- I'm sure I won't be nursing as long as you. For one thing, the tubes will be tied during delivery and I am hesitant about breast feeding although I really want to try it since this is my last and only chance. I would really like to pump and bottle feed but I've had some people say the nursing is easier and less painful than pumping but I really want to bottle feed with the breast milk. Sounds like a beginner doesn't it?

Thanks for the advice Mary. I really want to kinda do all 3 if I can, nurse, pump and supplement if necessary. I'm not really going to fool with the breast feeding stuff probably past 6 weeks anyway. I will be OK over the summer while the kids are home but I spend a lot of time on the road taking kids to and from school and errands and mess. As for the tubal, he just said it takes 5 additional minutes to my surgery and had nothing negative to say about it. My sister was suppose to have her tubes tied last month when she had her baby but her DH was so disturbed by what she went through with her birth (his first child) that he said he would have a vasectomy instead. So far he hasn't done that.

My DH feels the same way about the "big V". I have tried to tell him that its easier for him. But with that said, I also feel men feel they have no responsibility when they are "fixed" and tend to roam and we dealt with that chapter and verse years ago in our marriage so I don't need that again.

I feel nervous about my ultrasound as well so hopefully me and you together can have great results this week and enjoy these pregnancies.

My fiance has pledged to get the big V once we're done having kids. Actually he brought it up too without even discussing our post-children Birth Control.

I went to the doctor last week and all is well thus far. Baby's heartbeat was 150..

I'll get the big ultrasound in 5 weeks or so (I am at 15 weeks now)... I am a little nervous. DF wants to know the gender, but I am more unsure, however since he feels more strongly than I do, we'll find out. The only downside is is that my parents have forbidden me from telling them and I talk to them daily.

I told my husband that after two surgeries to get our babies here, he could be the one to get surgery to prevent having any more! Really, from a health standpoint, a vasectomy is so much better a form of permanent birth control. Tubal ligation brings with it a small but distinct possibility of ectopic pregnancies. I'm tempted to look into uterine ablation myself, as that supposedly stops the cyclic growing of the endometrium--and, thus, menstruation, but I really don't know. We've got three kids mainly because Rob was stalling on getting snipped; maybe if he does it again I'll get the fourth kid I want.

I could definitely see him procrastinating though when it came time, but it's true and he knows it is so much easier for the man.

Sabra: My parents were suppose to stop at 3, and then John my little brother showed up. I think actually they both wanted 4, but felt it would cost too much, but they were delighted to get their 4th child (we're also crammed together, we range in ages from 26-31 with no twins).

It's all about knowing yourself. Seriously, if it wasn't for financial considerations, we'd have 9. And we'd stop there only because DH thinks double digits is "ridiculous." (Nope, he can't explain to me why one more kid would make all the difference.)

Of course, if I had to have a c-section each time, I'd seriously not want any more. I had a rough time this pregnancy at the beginning when I was contemplating a 3rd surgery. (Which isn't even the beginning of a knock against women who choose repeat c-sections, I just had bad experiences.)

Well the baby is a BOY!!
He looks perfect and weighs about a pound already. He was measuring 6 days ahead of my EDD but since I have to have a c-section anyway, we are keeping our EDD and will watch for cervical changes.

As for the c-section, my recovery was much easier than my natural childbirth I had. As for the surgery itself, I was put to sleep due to the emergency situation. I'm not sure if I would choose a repeat c/s but because of my vertical cut on my uterus from the very top to bottom, it will rupture during labor and I have no choice. I knew I was ready for a tubal this time cause morning sickness was nastier than I had remembered and 4 is a plenty.

I can't wait to find out so I can start shopping! (I think it is 27 days away) I couldn't handle not knowing. A girl on one of thepregnancy message boards found out today the baby she thought was a girl (from her 20 week ultrasound) really is a boy (37 week ultrasound). She has an entire closet of pink clothes. She says she doesn't trust ultrasounds anymore and won't return anything until she has the baby in her arms. lol
