Perhaps. But it also much prettier. I'd rather have that in my ear than some stupid looking staple. But it's all relative; I'd much rather have no piercings there at all!
I read an article on this in Women's World many years ago. Apparently, you use the tip of your finger to put slight pressure on the stapled area when you feel hungry and it takes the hunger away. Or, you can just slam your hand or other body part in the fridge everytime you look in it!
It might work and I might be desparate but I'm more concerned with keeping it off this time!
to be honest i though it was in the inside of ur ear's hole, which I though is insane cause this is near the skull and brain. Now that I see this pic, i can see it is not and only affects the cartilage of your ear which is more acceptable. I think acupuncture works when u have a very very qualified person performing such task. Yet, I do recall this staple thing in the ear a long time ago when I was only a kid, and thought what the heck is that about. I don't know if it would work but time will likely bring out the truth. I personally am heavily leaning toward the it doesn't work area, but if proven wrong that would be nice.
I thought I had done heard it all, but ear stapling?? You've got to be kidding, don't know where I've been but this is the first I have ever heard of it.....and losing 10 pounds in month after doing it? Well, the losing part is definately great, but hey I lost 11 pounds in my first month, and I'm not following any diet plans, or going to any extreme measures to do so...the best way? The old fashioned way, "Watch what ya eat, do it in moderation, and excerise...I'm sorry but this is ridiculous!!!!
