  • Neruotica - please dont think that im judging, im most definately am not. whatever works for you is awesome. i have tried that route before tho, and for me it just does not work. thats why i like WW. i can have a snack that i normally shouldnt have, but not feel bad about it. thats just what works for me. thats awesome that you managed 109lbs in 9 months. I hope we can be here to support you in keeping it off this time!
  • Luan: What do/did you do at your job? Tape day? Do tell.

I understand what you're saying about "fat days" though. My weekly indulgence is after WW when I go to CBTL and have an ice blended (FF/SF of course) and a biscotti. My tastes have totally changed and I don't see "bad" food as food anymore...I see it as points. I've gotten pretty anal about it all, but today I had a friend of mine tell me that I was her inspiration for her starting on a weight loss program after she saw how successful I had been and how easy it's been for me. So I guess there is something to be said for anal sometimes.

SueMarie...Coke will also clean our your shower drain quite nicely as well. It's so multifunctional! I think that I'd sooner eat a steak down to the bone before I waste a can of soda on that though (and waste a steak). LOL By the way...I am right there with you on the fat bride thing. I don't want to be a size 6 bride either, but I want to have more choices in my dress and not have to spend extra $$ buying a larger size and having it altered like crazy. I just want to be healthy and happy.

Ammi...I'm trying so hard to keep my stress in check...thanks for your concern! A heart attack is for sure the last thing I want!

    Hugs to all...
  • God im such an idiot, lol. I accidently deleted the post i was trying to "post"
Anyway, in a nutshell, congratulations to all the losers and everyone trying to get healthier, i will all come in due time.
Catherine: you will be fine on your trip, being nervous is normal, you will have the time of your life
Im doing well, although not used to all the compliments i am getting lately. Its something i could get used to though
Everyone have a great weekend, my job working in labor and delivery has been keeping me really busy, but its a fun job at least.
    Take care
  • Julee - I worked at Playboy TV in the wardrobe dept, up until today. Basically i was a glorified maid. i just made sure clothes came back from the cleaners and were checked in and out and put away. it was a kinda boring job but the people were really great so that made it worth while.

i also dont look at things in a good/bad way.. just points. its just easier that way, because i know i can have it, i just cant have a whole cake (well i CAN, i just cant eat for 2 days after to make up the points.. lol

well i hope everyone is doing well. im gonna lay down for a while and try and feel better.
  • Princess pp I bet there was'nt much to the clothes you looked after, a bit of spangle, string and a wisp of chiffon! lol

I'm off to do my 30 mins aerobics, I hope everyone is ok.

About weddings, I tried to lose weight before mine, I allowed 18 months to get to a normal weight, I did'nt, we could'nt put it off as he wanted children and at 34 (then) I did'nt want to compromise babies for a slimmer body.Yes I know I should have thought of losing weight to have a healthy pregnancy, but it did'nt work that way for me. Lots of people get to a good weight for them if they have a special target, wedding, graduation, special holiday or anniversary but it put pressure on me which made it harder, I was in the final year of a BA, hons. in Eng. lit. too. I hope you don't have to put your date back again, if I did that I would have ben dead before I lost the weight!

    bye,
    sharon
