And now for my weekly update. Had a good week, good weigh-in...but this weekend the family and I are doing the 5K inflatable race and my coach has recommended that I do phase 3 for 3 days prior to the event else I risk harming my liver -- ugh! now I'm afraid to gain back what i had lost. Hope everyone has a good week!

    Going well here!
    Start 9/4 = 183.0
    9/10 = 180.4 (down 2.6)
    9/17 - 177.5 (Down 5.5)

I started cutting back on carbs in August, I was so afraid of keto flu! So I'm sure that negated any 1st week woosh I would have had. Still very happy with how it's going, down 6.2 as of yesterday (Day 16). Looking at my highest weight in Aug= 187.4 I'm down 10.6 overall!

We are traveling to my beloved MIL's house (no sarcasm!) for Thanksgiving and I am wondering how to handle it. Part of me wants to plow through, buy a bunch of salad and there should be no problem with that, she's very kind. Part of me wants to phase off and relax for the week but I'm not too sure I'd get back on plan after we got back!! I'm guessing I should be within 10 pounds of my goal when we leave. BUT Thanksgiving tends to be turkey (safe), sweet potato casserole (carb), corn (carb), rolls (carb), real potatoes (carb), stuffing (carb).... you get the picture. They don't eat a lot of produce because it goes bad, so they welcome when we're there because we do tend to eat it. All that to say: very flexible but tends to be carb heavy.

Hope you all are knocking it out of the park!
