So if I'm not around as much, never fear IPers! I'm still trucking on!
Finally made it to the weight I was 2 years ago when I STARTED IP the first time. Now I just need to lose 18 more pounds, and I'll be back where I was when I quit. I can doooo it!
Also had a heartening conversation with my roommate. I'd been a little bummed that no one's noticed my weight loss, but it turns out she HAS noticed that my face is a lot thinner and my dresses are a lot looser, she just wasn't sure she should say anything.
Congrats on your progress so far, you are doing great and of course you can do it! And I'm glad you got some positive reinforcement from your rooomate.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to give it a try

And the other change is that my fat globs that used to seem so solid seem "fluffier". Any one else notice that? I don't remember that from last time.
Congrats on you losses so far and I hope you get over the starving feeling.

After he passed we went to his favorite pub and drank his favorite beer, angry orchard. I acquired a taste for it and bought some over the weekend, 30 carbs a glass!!!!
So as far as eating goes I did good. Anyway, I am back on track and ready to get the rest of this weight off!!!!
I have missed this forum and all of you ladies!! Yesterday was my first day back to work after being off for two weeks and two days and it went way better than I expected! I was caught up with everything by 1:00pm. Not bad!
Well I have a lot of reading to catch up with on here!
Kelly, great job at only being up 2lbs, and I am sure your coach is right and it will be gone in no time. Also great job of getting back on track.

WTG flexing your willpower muscle and happy belated birthday. Enjoy camping on the weekend, I hope the weather is favorable.

It felt a bit difficult going down as he had been sort of estranged from the family (drug & alcohol problems for many years). All the brothers & sisters shared memories of good times with him when they were younger, though, and it was very good for his grown children from 2 different marriages to see one another again and hear those memories.
The luncheon on the backyard patio under the huge firs & cedars in the hot sunshine was great. The food was all on maintenance plan (pretty well), roast beef, ham, turkey deli with lots of fresh veggies on a tray (dip optional), lettuce leaves for wrapping (or for sandwiches in buns), cheeses of all sorts, fresh fruit. I ate well, although too much, and had Perrier & coffee to drink. There was a couple trays of cookies, dessert bars & squares, but being gluten free helps a lot in that regard. Breakfast was a collaborative effort from all us girls staying at the house on Sunday morning. Egg scramble with leftover ham, cheese, and a myriad of veggies in it - with toast and apricot freezer jam for them, piled onto a large bed of lettuce for me.
Tummy was upset the whole weekend though... feeling better back at home this morning. Just the emotions...
Starting a crazy work week due to switching days for time off... New patrol orientation tonight, and then 6 nights straight after an evening off.
I may not be on here much this next week... wishing you all renewed strength.
Liana
Liana, I'm glad that your trip went as well as can be and that your BIL's family were able to share fond memories with each other.
Hopefully you settle into your work week quickly and continue to feel better from the weekend tummy troubles.

I had such a quick weight gain (2 months - 17 lbs). 5 was expected, but the 12 was a huge reversion back to binge eating to cope with stress. It highlights how important it is to cope with any underlying issues that might be driving the weight gain and create new coping mechanisms. I'm working on that now, but it's a journey.
Keep strong Rayze, you are doing awesome! And good luck finding a healthy coping method. Many of us are in the same boat, I need to make an effort to do something active when I feel like eating like go for a walk/run or do a chore I've been putting off like organizing the office or putting away the winter gear...

LOL but I will live....
I hope you stayed in onderland just so you didn't have to feel disappointed, but like Amanda said, you are a onderland girl!
I'm happy to report that my Mom is still going strong with IP, she started at 258 and is now at 205!!
I'm not doing that great. It's been almost six weeks and I am up 6, but I'd like to think 5 is just the regular up amount in Maintenance, as my inches haven't gone up and none of my clothes have been feeling tight.
I was actually hoping to lose more. But for the last two weeks I haven't been doing my exercise routine, just a couple of games of soccer and ball hockey. So I'm hoping that I'll do better once I'm back into it, which will be soon I hope. I'm still trying to try to lose

Daily weighing to remind me to be careful.
Everyone have a great OP day and stay strong!
