It is the driver, the source of life and energy, a gift from the universe. But powerful as it is, I control it, it doesn't control me.

Official SUNDAY WEIGH-IN (as opposed to unofficial-but-logged-as-data daily weigh-ins), and so it goes ...

Officially up 1.8 to 126.6, but okay dokey with that. My daily weigh-in data and monthly measurement tracking adds data that tells a more positive tale rather than just that I'm up a bit, and yes, calories have been too high (stress eating as school is proving difficult this semester, plus I just love food).

My calorie tracking shows me, though, that overall, I am trending down a teeny bit in calories, e.g., getting a little bit of control back that I can expand on as the semester goes on and I feel more confident in my studies. As stated before I am a VERY, VERY overage college student and take grades and the work extremely seriously.

I also take healthy weight management and fitness seriously.

Heck, I take everything seriously, probably too much so, but that's another story.

Anyhow, daily weigh-ins show me that I have lost a net pound from January 1 to February 1 (today). Yay, a downward trend.

I also reached a new 10-day low last Sunday that put me below 125 and now I know I can reach that number again. Yay!

Monthly measurements show me that I have lost an overall total of more than 10 inches since November. That's due to better exercise consistency, less sodium overall and the teeny true weight loss of minus one pound, I guess. Jeans fitting better. Yay.

That's my scale tale for now. I soldier on.
