    What is going on here!my DH and I just got up and weighed in for the start of the plan. Reminder, I pretty much did the most exercise I have done since surgery this week and the FRIGGIN scale just said - 167.2

    167.2?

    Are you kidding me? Is this some sick joke?

    My eyes saw a treadmill every morning by 350am and this is the thanks I get ? Wow, I could eat whatever I want, not monitor calories and would have done better.

    Oh my! Ok ok, I must regroup. I did have an increase in sodium yesterday but ...

    Obviously I'm a little speechless right now.

    Im off to go take pics and compare them to my other ones from a few weeks ago.

    This is going to make me want to weigh daily or at least a few times a week so I can monitor things.

    Somebody hold me.
  • Day 1 of 21 - 167.2 :(
    10:45 - 1 hard boiled egg and a scoop of green superfood in water

    Running out the door for errands. I have to get in 55 minutes of cardio sometime today.

    1:00 - reduced fat cheese crackers. Don't worry watching the sodium
    Heading to grocery store for veggie salad after my workout. Downing water

    5:00 - Kale salad

    6:30 - Red pepper / Orange pepper slices with feta fill dip

    1 glass of blueberry wine

    Black beans and sautéed spinach

    1 cup rice chex

    Exercise - 60 minutes
  • Sodium, check. A bunch of exercise, check. Both can wildly affect the scale with water weight. So don't worry so much, it sounds like you KNOW you've been on plan, so this is where you exercise your MIND, and don't allow the scale to mess with your head. The mental is as important as the physical.

    Back DOWN we go!

    Today's exercuse requirement is 70 minutes. Will get that in later. Got some work to get to right now. Will update meals throughout the day.

    Yogurt and half apple

    Half apple crackers

    Kale salad

    Tilapia w/2 oz blueberry wine

    Multigrain organic pancake / egg white / 3 turkey bacon

    Sipping on green superfood and water.

    Exercise : 60 min ..500 Cals

    Dinner: tilapia ...1/3 cup forbidden rice and kale

    Snack: 2 graham crackers

    Time for bed

    Almost in the 150's!!! I'm claiming it this week!

    Ok. Off to hit some weights ! My dr cleared me last week for light weight training so time to up the ante! Bye bye jiggly arms.

    Got a delicious green smoothie ready when I get home. Sorry I wasn't around last week. So busy with the holiday and Drs appt.

    And thank you Ms Snark for checking on me. You are part of my motivation because I know someone is watching ! ;-)
  • I'm back and sipping on a green drink. Will have a pure green protein shake later. Not hungry quite yet. Loving these morning workouts. Ahhhh Tomorrow I want to be at work by 6am so I will have to get up by 3am to workout before work. Whatever has to be done will be done!

    Sad thing - I had a small sign of Aunt Flow coming and I'm not ready for water weight gain when I'm on the borderline of the 150's ! Grrr! I know its temporary but I'm going to try my best to have minimal water weight gain. I want those 150's now! Not a flicker. I want to be FIRM in there, because once I'm in ...there's NO going back!

    Everyone who's pushing...keep going ! The weight loss may be slow sometimes but sooner or later those fat cells surrender!

    I know! 3am is going to come fast! I just don't want to miss a beat. I guess I could workout when I get off but man does it feel good to know my workout is DONE for the day. Hubs and I may be able to workout together in the afternoon. Hmmm. We'll see.

    My legs are already hurting! My DOMS usually doesn't set in until day 2 of weight training. Wow. This body is rusty ! And squishy ! WTH happened? This marshmallowy-ness must go.

    ...Funny you mentioned Hubs!! He packed his clothes this morning to hit the gym after work!! I don't think he wants me leaving him in the dust. When I got back home this morning and was getting dressed, he asked if I had just finished working out in the basement. I told him that I had just came back from the gym and his eyes popped out.

    Him: "What time heck time did you wake up!?!?"

    Me: 4:15 Would you like a shot of this motivation in your coffee this morning ?

    Threw together some overnight oats for work tomorrow.

    In a small Mason jar -
    Threw in raw oats, coconut yogurt, 2 tbsp of pumpkin butter, raisins, hemp powder, and pecans. It'll get nice and thick tonight in the fridge. No cooking involved. Should be yummy !!

  • No gym this morning ! I've been trying to fight off a cold and I was doing pretty good until today. All I have is the sore throat so far but mannn!!! Annoying! I'm sitting at work dying to go home right now. Sipped on ginger tea earlier and now green drink to get my energy back up.

    Had some of the overnights osts when I got here at 6am and popped an Advil cold and sinus. If I can get rid of this feather out of my throat which is inducing major gag reflex, I'd be cool.

    It's going to get better. This is just a small hurdle.

    Going to jump right over that bad boy and keep going!
