  • More fun with turnips!!! Last night I made meatloaf for the family and I thought, I think I can make something "loafish" for myself. I took 6oz ground turkey, added some spices and an egg white to keep it all together and add moisture, baked it. Then added the sauteed "hash brown" turnips on top with a little bit of reduced sugar ketchup....it was soooo good! Side of squash and I was stuffed!!!
  • New to this!
Quick question is 1 zucchini muffin a serving? Thanks
  • Quote: Hi JackieGee,

I get my SF syrups at Starbucks but I think some people buy the Torani brand from stores like Homesense or Home Outfitters. I bought Hazelnut today!
when I walk the dog tonight, I'll take a stroll down to Starbucks and see if they have the mint SF syrup. Thanks

This morning for breakfast, I brought my chocolate RTD to work with a little container of encore instant coffee and nuked it all to make a mocha. Put too much coffee in and now I'm so speedy I can hardly sit still. Worse than a redbull!
  • last night I added a little WF Caramel to my RM Choc Pudding....OMG I was in heaven. I felt like I was cheating with naughty food! lol
  • My favorite thing is baking "bread" out of potato puree and soup packets - I also love making cinnamon bread out of crispy cereal - had it this morning!

And I'm totally getting oatmeal next week to make some of these muffin recipes.
  • Question- Starbucks sells bottles of their syrup?

If you use one pack of oatmeal or pudding, it makes 3-4 muffins - that is one serving. If you double the recipe (for instance, mix one oatmeal mix with one pudding mix), it makes two servings of 3-4 muffins each.

Yup! And they're huge. The bottles will last forever. I put a tiny splash - no more than a tsp in my drinks otherwise they taste too sweet and artificial.
  • You can actually make pancakes out of the drinks, too. Just add a 1/4tsp of baking powder and an egg white. Make it slightly runnier than a regular pancake mix or it doesn't flow well in the pan. Preheat the pan, turn it when the edges start to curl.

You can also use the maple oatmeal with a pudding packet (pref Butterscotch) to make a form of cookie.
