I had my stress test at 8AM and was only on the treadmill for 5 mins when I started to huff and puff. My breathing was so bad they had to stop the test. The doctor that did the test told me it not my heart but my breathing .He's calling my doctor of some more test the first to be a ECHO. Now I worried that its my lungs.


Bought a new garage can for my recycling so I have to put the recycling sticker on it and than reinforce it it packing tape so it does get loose and blow a way. Can't carry those blue plastic bins anymore so I got a garage bin with wheels.

Try to take it easy til they figure this thing out. good idea about the rolling garbage bin for recycle. I may copy your idea. Much better than the bins.

I woke with a cold & sore throat.. I always try to think back to were I picked it up at since I am not around that many kids. Oldest son is home just briefly but is off today doing a school tour of our state prison. I have his dog ,Riley, today and we are sitting together out on the deck & it makes me want a dog.. I found this dog as a puppy for him 3 years ago (some of you may remember) and my son & Riley are inseparable.

Handyman canceled Wed & Thur again this week. But next week is the promised week he gave me to finish the bathroom. We shall see. I found tile I really like in stock so thats good.

Nancy, dogs are such good companions aren't they. I think though that we won't get another one after this one goes to the big dog park in the sky. Of course, that is exactly what I said after my last two died.

I'm doing OK with the food part of life, but have a challenge this afternoon at a birthday party for DH's 98 year old uncle. I have to simply remember I've had my junk food for the year!

Hi Ladies

Had a bad night as I could breath again and woke up in a panic. I was things of calling an ambulance but after walking to the living room I decided to take some Zicam Congestion Relief nasal spray and in a while my breathing came back to normal.I slept until 9AM,but this is nothing to what Karen is going though. The one thing that cam out good from my colonoscopy I lost .5 and I'm now this morning 160.5 only 10 more pound to my goal.


NANCY-No he didn't say I guess its my doctor that has to schedule it. Its hard not to worry as I'm alone up here,and I don't dare call friends in the middle of the night. Going to put tape over the recycling sign so it doesn't pull off my new garage can.

Enjoyed my son being home , took him & a friend of his to breakfast & then went to watch Grandson play soccer. I am going to take some cold medicine & rest til I have to take my car in at 5:30 for an oil change & tire rotation. Its always been hard for me to keep the tire schedule straight but I found out our tire place does both oil change & tire rotations so I can do both every 3K miles.
Or some people say every 5K is enough (I need to check on that)

Tomorrow my daughter in law and I are taking a ladies beginner shooting clinic.
We don't do a lot together so this will be good for us.

Maryann..does your dr know you had the middle of the night problem. I wonder if an inhaler would help you in that situation. Prayers & Hugs !!

Today as we were driving to the birthday party, the car died....on a major interstate. That Premium AAA is worth every single penny. We are OK, the car is in the shop, but it took hours of course. The party started at 5; we got there at 7. Believe me, I had TWO margaritas!!! After that we got a rental car, and DH drove us home. We arrived at 10PM. So, 6 hours for what should have been a few hours out. Whew.

Hello chickies. Letting you all know we are finally in Florida. Arrived late last night. We will be here until April.

Maryann, I hope everything is okay for you. I love Florida, but if my husband were to die first, and my sis was gone, I would have to move back to KY permanently. I would not want to be here alone, if something were to happen to me.

Pam, seems like just the other day you left Florida. Curtis and I used to winter in Texas when we lived in Montana. Curtis moved me to Texas so I would be close to family and friends.

We heard and voted our new minister today. Now things should be getting back to normal at church. He begins Nov. 1.

Sandra, the only family I have in Florida is my sis. She is one mile away. Love it.

Had a good night sleep and than went to church and Sunday brunch. In the afternoon I watch to Halloween type of movies.

Tomorrow I will call my doctor and Hope he has an appointment set up for my ECHO and than I want a carotid artery checked also. Than he should set up a appointment with either a pulmonary or ear nose throat doctor, to check my lungs or sinuses for my breathing problems.


NANCY-Don't know that why I going to call my reg doctor and find out when he set it up. A woman in my choir told me I should have one of those emergency call buttons that go around the neck,but I have my land and cell phone by my bed at night,so I all set for a EM. Got the black garage bin and I put a recycle sticker on it,so I all set for next week recycling pick up. No he doesn't know about my breathing problems going to tell him tomorrow morning.

VICKIE-Thanks,but be worried about me,I find the answers some time this week


RHONDA-Thanks, I wouldn't know what to do if my car broke down,so TG I have my AAA card and membership it is worth the cost.


PAM-I made the decision to stay up here no matter what. As long as I have my phones by my bedside I can always call. Just have to be able to reach the front door or better still tell them that I will unlock the sliding door[side of house] closer to the bed room. If I went back to NY I would be still to far away from my DD or DS to take care of me.


SANDRA-Thanks,I don't know I will find out from my reg doctor. I more worried about my not breathing as the cardo doctor told me my heart was OK it was the breathing he was worried about,and he will call my reg doctor to set up a ECHO appointment.

I told the tow truck driver that I wanted a AAA membership that included a massage and a trip to the spa! He laughed and said he did too.

No, Pam, we won't get a new car...DH has a 1990 Cadillac. We'll likely get a new engine, if needed.

Had a fun day with daughter attending a ladies shooting clinic. We got to shoot shotguns, semiautomatic pistols, & high powered rifles.

This eveing i have just rested trying to get past this head cold.

Usually I make a list on Sunday night of things to get done for the week but I think that will wait tl morning.
