  • I don't usually post in the 20-somethings forum but chronologically I fit here and I love the idea of a thread to get out of the 180's. I have been stuck in the low 180's for about a month now (9 months ago I was 25 lbs. lighter )and I would like to see the 170's soon. Hopefully this will give me a little extra push.

  • So it's the end of my first week of working out/eating right and I'm terrified to weigh myself. I go to the gym today and the scale will be right there...but I'm so...freaking...scared... I feel like I've lost. I feel smaller, but... what if I'm wrong? Maybe I should weigh once a month? What do I do?
  • Don't be afraid to get on the scale. You will most likely be pleasantly surprised at the number! It sounds like you did a good job this week; the number on the scale is bound to have gone down.
  • Go ahead and get on the scale!! Normally the first week brings good news on the scale. Well I finally made it to the gym. My husband decided he wanted to start working out so its going to be a lot easier for me to go now. Hope everyone is doing well and congrats to all the losses!

  • Finally graduated to this thread. 186.4lbs this morning and I am pumped to keep going. 185lbs is my first mini goal and I am treating my self to my first session of microdermabrasion . But I won't probably get it done until I am officially 185 or lower.
  • Welcome! I myself am hoping I graduate FROM this thread tomorrow, so perhaps this will be a brief meeting.
  • Yes! I was right! I just weighed in at 177.5, which means I finally get to leave this thread... hopefully FOREVER!

    I can't believe I'm almost out of here! I really didn't think it'd happen. And it seems like the time has gone by so quickly.

    Ya know, I'm getting really excited about going hiking next Spring. I don't know why. I've never done it before, but I feel like it could be my "thing." Sorry, just a side note.
  • i feel terrible being back in the 180s! i lost 10 lbs and got out of there a few months ago right before summer. i went from 183 to 173 but over summer gained it right back and it was because i wasnt really serious, i got too cocky about my loss and figured i didnt need to work as hard anymore, but im ready to get back into my workout routine and hopefully i'll see the rest of you in the 170s soon
