Lately I've been thinking alot about a book called "All Quiet on the Western Front".
It's about the horrors of war (for a very young man) and the difficulties of returning to civilian life. But it's written about a young German man in WW1. I seriously think it had a positive effect on how I feel ... I'm not sure how to say this ... I think I'm much more racially tolerant than I might have been if I'd never read this book.
