    I guess my question about the Olympic athletes was too much of a stumper so I'll give you the answer: Carl Lewis (track/field, USA) and Steven Redgrave (rowing, UK) both won gold medals in 1984 in Los Angeles and 1996 in Atlanta. (The only other two times the same country hosted summer or winter Olympics twice within a 20-year span was in 1896 and 1906 [intercalated] in Athens, and Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976 in Innsbruck)
