I'm 5'6. When I was 220 I had a 35" waist and I wore either 16W or 18.

i'm 5'2'' and have a 35-36 inch waist and wear a size 12. and i weigh around.. 168

I'm just under a 35" waist now, and wearing 10s - 14s depending on the brand.

I'm 5'6" and 221#. I really have no defined waist. I measure 38" at the belly button which is the same measurement as my chest just under the boobs. My hips would be about the same number as well, except for my tummy. I'm pretty much a straight line from the armpit to knee...very not an hourglass! I wear a size 16 in dress slacks, which fit at the waist but are very baggy in the butt and thighs. Perfect fit jeans are a MENS 36X30 (and I was excited to find two pairs cheap at the thrift store yesterday).

Everyone is different. It can be very difficult (even impossible) to set your own goal measurements and sizes based on someone else's body.

I have a 35" natural waist, 40 inch hips, and weigh 203 pounds. 16s fall off of me...but depending on the style/cut of the jeans my size varies. For example, looking at levis jeans size chart, my hips would be a size 10, but my waist would be a 16. Seriously can't wait for my gut to go!!!!

My waste was 32 at 198Lbs and is a 32 now at 175Lbs so weight / waste size is very hard to gauge!! I wear a 16- my hips are 42"
