  • evening all. today at work wasn't to bad. I made it through..no major issues. So its all good. thanks for being worried about me..but don't worry i do try to take care of myself. Honestly working out is one thing i do to relax (yes sounds weird huh) but that's why i like going hiking with the dog and riding my horse...helps me relax. I ate bad today...uggh very bad. I need a kick in the rear. I think its a pms thing...but i'll get back on track tomorrow. I have a meeting with my pt tomorrow. I got 2 free training sessions from her. She set her alarm yesterday for pm instead of am and she missed our apt. I really didn't care since i still worked out...but heck i'll take a few free work outs. So i have a session with her tomorrow pm. I haven't taken measurements yet...but i know i'm loosing. I'll do it soon.

Hannah - hope family is doing ok. keep us up to date.

  • hello everyone!
Joan I just remember the other author Amy Tan she has wonderful books too!
GG here you go you asked for it!
Well I am trying to decide if I am going to have matzo ball soup or if I am going to go to a drive through, I don't feel like soup right now. I am very stressed and very anxious. I am worried about both DH and DS neither one is doing well.
Sean doesn't do well w/out his dad there, and his dad is so sick
Wish me luck! I am sending Sean to school tomorrow no matter what...
I will check in later or tomorrow

Nicci, curious what made you decide to move to Sweeden? I remember on DD's soccer team one year there was a family from there. The whole family was very lean.
My boyfriend is Swedish and it was muuuuuch easier for me to move here than it was for him to move to the states. Swedes are very lean, active, all that stuff.

Nicci ~ got a kick out of your "swedie" swipe:-). I take it that your SO is Swedish?

    .
    Yep, he is Swedish

    Quote: Hello,

DaDuck-I really relate to your post. Although I live in the States, my dh is from Iceland, better known as the land of the blonde, thin, model-like women. We are planning a trip back late this summer, and I am already freaking out. But we can do this!! I did 30 minutes of strength training and stretching this morning. After class today, I will hit the bike for 45 minutes. I'm also really watching my calories. OH cheese, why must you be so high in calorie and fat???
ah, Iceland. I have always wanted to go there. I want to go to Blue Lagoon and see some volcanoes. I have always pictured Icelandic people as dark haired almost Inuit looking. hmmm....interesting.

Nicci..I love the idea of your toaster..Awesome..my kids would love it. I just bought my DD a headband with pink crystals on it...thought it was a heart. Realized when she was wearing it the next day that it's a skull & x-bones...so cute!
aaaaaaaaaaaah pink skull and crossbones!!! That is right up my alley!!!!
