please help me ans this question: is losing weight worth all the sacrifices?

    I realize this thread is an older one...but I had to add (for the OP or anyone else who might be feeling the same way):

    By being the most healthy and happy YOU possible...you will find more strength, energy and time to be a better daughter, sister and friend. Take care of you first and everything else will fall into place
  • I honestly think that is up to you. Here are the reasons why I do think it is worth it:
    1. to fight off diseases, if/when they hit I will have a jumpstart on those, that is really the most important!
    2. to not wake up and hate myself because I look like a house!
    3. to look good in pictures,
    4. to not get SO overweight that people are staring, and making horrible comments, I stopped myself luckily before it got too bad.

    30 minutes a day of being active is 2% of your time each day!
    I am losing slow and okay with that, any loss is awesome, keep on it girl!
