We head off later this afternoon for a very short camping trip with family...

after we watch my daughter, daughter in law and niece (Angie passed her spot off to her since her kness are sore from training) in the 10K Mud Run this morning....

I'm here. I've been in "hermit mode" except for Church and feel much better for it! I didn't do a darn thing today except sit on the front porch with my new book and sip iced tea with lemon and Splenda. The dogs loved it!

Well, I got my first week of school in and think I have a pretty good idea of how to put my schedule together to fit work, sleep, and study in~I hope. Might try for a little me time, but it ainna looking real good for that until after the summer semester. I'm so not trying this again next year. 2 classes at the most.

We had our Silent Auction last night. I was chair. Afterwards we all made pinky promises to never do this again.
Tomorrow I have Jury Duty. My life is just one continual round of pleasure.

You gotta be 21 for jury duty. The traffic getting there is terrible and you do a lot of sitting around. If you get picked , and I have , several times, you find yourself in a room with 11 dummies.

Knock on wood...I haven't ever been called. I do know people that have been called to FEDERAL JURY DUTY and from here you have to go like 90 miles... wouldn't that be crazy!
