THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS ~ WARNING: This may be too much info for sensitive folks, but here goes ...

Well, the preliminary diagnosis is that I have a tag or fisher (sp) with a tear; now that I think back on it -- my derrier was a bit sore several days on and off, and I had mentioned it to my DH. Since I changed my diet so much, I was having some issues with constipation, etc. I was so glad to be cured of the chronic IBS and daily diarrhea, but now I have the opposite problem ...

HOWEVER, even though my doctor is pretty sure that is what caused my symptoms, he still wants me to have a colonoscopy (sp) becuz of my age and the family history of colon cancer, just to be on the safe side. Meanwhile, I have to take some meds to help this issue and wait for a date for that other test. He says they make you so drowsy that you don't feel anything these days ... I hope that is true ...

Rosebud Will be praying for you. My DH had one of those a while back. When I went in with him after the procedure, he thought they hadn't done it yet. Let us know how it goes.

I don't think I've ever come to the prayer warriors thread just lurked. I had a physical last week and the doctor found lots of what he said could be breast cycts (not sure I spelled that right) and questionable swelling of lymph glands under my left arm. I am scheduled for a mammogram and an ultra sound this coming Tuesday afternoon. I have never had major problems other than dealing with diabetes from time to time. I am having to get that under control again now which is all my fault because I didn't do what I knew I had to do to keep it under control. I am the one who always prays for everyone else. I know God loves me and He will take care of me and most of the time I have peace about this. However, I would appreciate your prayers concerning this test I'm having Tuesday that all will go well and be okay.

Patty I have missed you! They have discovered that olive oil dissolves tumors and I have been eating olive oil for just about everything. I use it as a conditioner and upset belly. I started taking 1 teaspoon of olive oil for belching at night time when I try to sleep from someone on here who told me her husband started taking one teaspoon of olive oil a day and his cholesterol went down. They have also proven that to be a fact. I use olive oil as a conditioner for my hair, my hair is thick! Will be praying for you that is the best medicine of all.

I tested my fasting blood sugar level this AM and it was 5.0/80 which was great (I am now off the Metformin). I pre-tested at home as I had to get a blood test done for it this AM and they are checking my iron levels as well. I had an ounce of cheddar cheese and a tea as my evening snack last night at 9:00 pm ... and that helped a lot I think. I didn't get any breakfast until 11 am by the time we got done and boy, was I hungry.

BOOTSIE ~ thanks for the prayers; and the tip about the olive oil. We were using it, but have been using canola and flax oils lately; but plan on picking up some olive oil very shortly ...

I am requesting prayer for myself. Two weeks ago I was in an auto accident that totaled my car. This has been proven that I was not at fault and the oher drivers insurance has paid the claim. BUT I am so angry and disappointed , this was not my fault and it has turned my life upside down. I just don't know how to deal with the emotions this has brought about. I dealt with learning I have cancer much better than I am handling this. My pastor has offered counseling but I just don't see how this can help. I am grateful that there were no injuries , but I am an emtional mess just the same. Thanks for listening.

BARGOO ~ I agree with BOOTSIE; try the counselling -- it can't really hurt, can it? And, it may help you. It does take a little time to heal, esp if the accident frightened you. I am glad that the insurance did the payouts so quickly; but more importantly, we are all so glad that no-one was physically hurt in the accident. Am sending up some prayers for peace -- as it sounds like you have post-trauma symptoms, which are very common after such an incident.

Hello Everyone.

I am very new in following and believing in God and his word but already I have felt his presence and his love has helped me through a tough time. I have a prayer request and this is in regards to this post I've made http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/gene...ly-needed.html

It's a long one, sorry. I've updated the situation on there. Also in no way is my husband a believer at all. Since I've recently started getting to know God I am hoping to change that some day.

Um...I always feel awkward in asking for help and even more awkward asking for prayer for myself....so here it goes...

Please pray for God to keep knocking on my husband's heart and for God to make himself known to him so that there is not doubt in his mind if he exists or not. That I will be able to continue to reject the negativity and poison that's been trying to enter my mind (obsessing over the past hurts) and that my heart will be filled with joy and not hurt and anger. That I can continue to work on myself and get to know God better so that I can win my husband through grace. So that I can be the spouse that God wants me to be. That while my husband is deployed that he will find someone over there whom he can be accountable to. (whether or not he is still chatting or looking at porn someone who will ask daily and support him) That my husband will find someone over there who will plant the seed of God in his heart and atleast start that process. And that while he is deployed he will aggressively seek counseling for himself so that he can get the help he needs to learn to love himself and over come his addiction.

I apologize for the length. I'm still new to all of this and dont really know how to pray.

SWEETIE ~ will definitely send up some prayers for you and your DH; and your situation. Don't worry about how you pray; prayer is just like talking and asking something of any friend -- for JESUS is our friend. Jesus said that "... I have called you friends." John 15:14 & 15

I will go read your other post so that I can better understand what specifically you need prayers for; that always helps, I think. *OK, I had read your post and responded before; and now I have read your recent update as well. Sounds like some progress is being made; and we will continue to pray about this for both of you.

BTW, I thought your prayer request was just fine ... and I will pray the LORD continues to strengthen you in your new walk with Him too! Remember, that there is nothing that GOD can't or won't heal in your relationship with Him; it may take some time though, as GOD won't cross your husband's will, BUT the Holy Spirit will certainly try to woo him towards GOD and His awesome love ... and the more prayers we send up on his behalf, the better!

By reading your post i can feel your warmth and sincerity about the desires for your DH. And i Pray that your husband will open his heart to receive him and let him in. And in the lords time,his eyes will open.
