Hmmm. Well, ok, since you insist ...
Wildfire: You sound so upbeat and ready for the new challenge. Kudos to thee for not worrying about those winter

s and realizing they be HISTORY ALREADY!!!
Amarantha be sure she be up, up, up this week again, also, as she hath eaten unabated for three days! It doesn't matter ... starting again is always an option.
I have hours more writing to do tomorrow so am relaxing and beading tonight and thinking about my new weight loss initiative (this is the real one ... I've just been playing around since New Year's) ... I'm going to post the St. Patricia's Pledge thread in a few minutes, so if you'all would be so kind as to post there from here on out, we can all be together again!!!
Self-flagellation, Ceara? Moi?
Kaylets: I'm not Ceara but I think the Optimist Club is a community service club similar to Rotary? Ceara, please correct me (on the other thread) if that's not the case!!!
Not sure which Steinbeck novel Ceara was thinking of but for me, this group reminds me of Dickens ... hmmm, yes, "Great Expectations," methinks!
My favorite part of that book is when Pip arrives in London and is greeted by his old childhood acquaintance (Mr. Pockets) with whom he is to room. I love the dialogue:
"Mr. Pip?"
"Mr. Pockets?"
Thus begins an exciting new life for Pip ... that's how I feel about this group ... we are all on the verge of SUCCESS and A NEW EXCITING LIFESTYLE BROUGHT ABOUT IN PART BY OUR CONTINUING DEDICATION TO FITNESS AND ACHIEVING AND MAINTAINING A HEALTHY WEIGHT (but it's the dedication that counts, not necessarily a number on a scale; thin and healthy is a state of mind that we don't have to wait to achieve)!
Anyhow, PLEASE POST ON THE NEW THREAD AND LET'S ALL LOOK AHEAD TO GREATER AND GREATER VICTORIES!
A bientot! Sure and begorra! Or something!
