Angie and I went to one of our faves last night

BBQ WITH SOUL ~ had fried shrimp...ouch! collard greens, braised cabbage and sweet potatoe fries....weighed in at 181 so back into the 80's again...dang I hated that big hair.

I need to do some research, and I have a busy week-end, but I think the ticket to weight loss is baloney.....

I think the secret to weight loss is surgery. Cut off a finger, maybe a toe. How about appendix removal, any other unnecessary body parts.

Well I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and my body will eventually give it up.

Not sure about body parts MINDY but I do know that I mistakenly thought losing my hair was an answer to prayers for weight loss

I got bored today...I whipped up some pizza quesadillas...pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce and all...

Sorry for the long silence!
After the loss of my computer, I also had a loss of other things (that, unfortunately, didn't include weight!)-- but it's been hard to keep life on track, let alone weight stuff. I'm still in the 159-161 range, which is fine with me for now... I want to be lower, but, in these circumstances, it's best just to concentrate on living.

Life has thrown us a few (well.. more than a few, but I'm keeping this short!) curve balls, and I don't know what the future holds.... From moving back home to New Orleans to live with my folks, to living in my car, or possibly (if the fates allow) just staying put and being able to survive this stupid recession-- There's a lot of scary unknowns going on.... (and what a great time for work to cut my hours from 15/week to 12... when I asked for 25... *sigh*)

Anyways-- I will be back for another 5lb thread: Hopefully come June/July, when life has taken a course (whatever it may be!) that I can stick with for a while.

Being 23 really sucked, and I'll be 24 on the 14th, so... Wish me luck for a better year this year Hopefully I can come back as early as my birthday!

Anyhoo-- Hugs to everyone And HUGE hugs to Mindy and Gary who have kept my chin up during easier hard times
