I am so excited to find out about the Walden Farms BBQ sauce. I miss BBQ chicken, so I must try this. I love these boards! Thanks ladies for the tips and constant encouragement.

Hello Ladies!!! I'm still hanging in there. Congrats on allyour successes this week. I went to WI yesterday and was only down .02, a little disappointed but didnt stay completely on plan this week. I indulged in some ice cream (butter pecan) was craving it really bad. lol I was also given a new beige menu and it has some changes on it. I can have nuts, grits, corn and even greek yogurt. I'm really excited about the additions and hope this will help me continue on my journey. I didn't do any exercises this week and I felt really yucky. So back to exercising and completely eating on plan. So far I have lost 18 lbs and 12 inches. YAY me. Good luck and continued success until next time. Michelle

Have you told the center you have this medical problem? They can help you change your menu to accomodate to it.. I am allergic to most dairy, and can have soy,and greek yogurt without becoming very ill,and they helped me with this at the beginning.. Good weight loss you have since November. Good luck with your challenge.

put some frozen raspberries in my chocolate truffle HNS and whirled in my fave one serve blender - YUM!!! it's like chocolate raspberry ice cream!!! insert straw, enjoy!
steaming some broccoli to go w/ my left over flank lean steak - large glasses of water on my dining room table, kitchen and office so i'll be reminded to drink up!!!! (bottles of water in my car too!!!)

@bigdog-I also like to use the vanilla pudding HNS with frozen strawberries (or raspberries) and diet 7up...just like a strawberry milkshake! (well, not JUST like, but after this long without a milk shake, it is good enough)

Having a great weekend so far. Relaxing...been reading and ignoring the laundry that needs to put away and my veggies that need cut. yes, I do get kidna burned out with all the prep of veggies and meat so I can have stuff easy to grab, but I think it is just becoming part of what I do (like exercise...just a part of who I am now), so definitely a habit to keep up.

Has anyone ordered from Walden Farms directly? I checked 2 Publix stores and one Walmart and they have very little Walden Farms products. I pulled up the site and my goodness, they have the new Caramel syrup Tami told us about, and Strawberry Syrup, blueberry, and many items.. Wondering if the shipping was expensive and how their service was.. I am contemplating it..
Only thing I found here was the salad dressing, a marshmallow dip and a caramel dip. That was it.

Did I just say earlier that I was having a good day? Well, nothing in my day changed, but about midafternoon I got real negative about the whole weight loss thing (and you know that isn't me at all). I've been hanging around 160-161 for a week or more and then when I look at myself I see not different from the pre and post me (even though I've lost lots of inches & 2 pant sizes). I even typed up a nice spreadsheet to see the progression...but I just got the blahs this afternoon. I wanted ice cream, brownies, something!!! I haven't cheated at all and I'm just losing resolve (and my husband pointed out, pretty crabby tonight). And I just go back and forth if I should stabilize here and lose more later if I wish. Bah! I hate feeling like this, it isn't me at all. I KNOW that sticking to plan will work in the end and should be about another month, but maybe a little more. But tonight has been an "is it worth it?" night. Getting only 5 hours of sleep last night and boredom is probably part of it.

BTW-i didn't give in. I tried making a new flounder recipe with tons of veggies hoping I'd feel "oh, look, I made something totally yummy and healthy on plan..." then it ended up being just blah

Tomorrow's a new day...

sounds like you need a yummy dessert after the on plan dinner ;-) i'm ordering the chocolite protein bars again (taste like turtles caramel candy and only 35 cal.) after i eat fish, i need a little chocolate. i'll at least have a chocolate truffle HNS. how about retail therapy? or "shop" from your closet, an outfit you haven't worn in awhile - head out and strut your stuff! i bet you look great!!!! anyway, that motivates me to try on clothes that fit my slimmer body :-)

what a day..what started out to be a day that I was determined to follow my program -- I loaded my bag with water and HNS to make sure I drank them all - ate a great breakfast --then the day went south--got busy and playing with kids -- rushed a lunch so I could drive my teenager everywhere she needed to be and then when we returned --got busy outside, dinner turned into a circus with our little ones and I totally ate off plan --
suddenly I remember that horrible stuffed feeling that I used to goto bed with every night -- it is a feeling that I haven't missed -- and I am totally disappointed in my choices... (only good thing -- drank over a gallon of water and all HNS for the day)
Tomorrow back OP and getting rid of the stuffed feeling.

Tonight I went out to a Mexican Restaurant with some friends because one of them is moving away and I won't see them again for a while. I am a little disappointed that I gave in and got one of their signature margaritas (I needed to loosen up a bit around the girls I'm insecure around), but I am proud that I ate almost on plan even out to dinner. I had beef fajitas, and stuck to half a flour tortilla and very few chips before the food came. For now, thats the best I could have done out to eat. I'm only two weeks in and don't have as much willpower as a lot of you guys approaching stabilization.

Brand new day. I am ready to tackle it and stay on track all day after yesterday's bad choices

Down 1.5 this morning! Woohoo! That makes 12.5 total. It's going a little slower for me than last time and my little 12.5 pounds doesn't compare to some of the bigger numbers on this board, but I will get there! I started weighing only once a week. I was weighing every morning and getting pretty stressed and discouraged at the small movements. Happy girl this morning!

I have the same question as Patzi on the Walden Farms products. I looked in several stores yesterday for the BBQ sauce (They were even the stores they had listed on their website as product carriers.) but no WF products at all. Anyone know about ordering online? Is it worth ordering the BBQ sauce or just keep going without? Also, I'm on the green menu. If you think I'm not supposed to have this BBQ sauce, please let me know.

Thanks again ladies for posting on these boards. I do the mail order program and rarely if ever get to the center, so this is great motivation for me and a great resource for info.

i couldn't find alot of the products for Walden Farms at Publix, Bi-Lo or Food Lion. i found a couple of the dressings at Food Lion. some stores have them in the diabetic section - some with other dressings... varies per location. if you order online, orders are sent out 5 days after receipt of order so depending on your location, prob. another 3-4 days.. it's approx $8.95 for the first 10 items, then add $8.95 for add'l items.

may be a good idea to ask your local Grocery store manager if he/she could stock some items or order for you.

personally i think the salad dressings are nasty. i heard the caramel is excellent esp. on apples :-) i've read that some people mix the chocolate dip w/ the marshmellow. i did hear the choc. dip is weird by itself. they even have peanut butter spread!

i wonder if the super Walmart has the products...haven't checked there yet.

the website is very helpful and has a huge selection - if you find what you like, the products are like 0 calories!(0 sugar, 0 gluten, 0 carbs!)

Walden Farms peanut butter spread.. I found this horrible. Tastes nothing like peanut butter.. I did try two of their salad dressings, and did not like them. When I was on a business trip, someone let me taste some they had with them in a cooler.

i've tried the chocolate dip and the Blue Cheese dressing - they were so nasty it wasn't even funny. like super bleah nasty. i get my peanut butter fix with my protein bars :-) someone did mention peanut butter powder that was supposed to be good..not sure what company it's from.

i'm cool w/ my sugar free chocolate peanut butter protein bars and this is funny but i'll add 3 dry roasted peanuts (my DH's) to my chocolate truffle protein shake sometimes. (for a choc pnutty flavor) amazing how a little bit of something adds alot of taste. haven't gained from that - boy, back in the day, me eat only 3 peanuts? HA! i've come a long way!
