+3C/36F today so far, calling for rain/snow later, sunny at the moment!!!

I had 4 phone calls at 8am aleady! :shock:
Still not liking this time change. Was up til 1am and couldn't wake up for 6:30.

Need to eat, shower, go thru notes from last nights meeting. I am speaking on behalf of school council at the Kindergarten info night. DD had gym, DH will have to take her.

I will clean the kitchen well today and put away laundry.

Quick update. Eating has not been great. I didn't log my food well this weekend. Trying again for today. Exercise is GREAT though. DH has gone with me to the gym again - we did 54 mins on the elliptical.

Wish he could eat better though!

Thanks for the hugs. Doc couldn't get DSs finger to align or connect. We go on Friday to have two screws put in his finger. Surgery is at 2pm, so he will only miss 1/2 day of school. He is excited about only missing 1/2 day, cause if he does not miss any days of Building Trades, which is in the mornings, he will get 100 bucks on the last day of school. They are building a house in Greencastle, Indiana, and are almost done. It looks great.

Working both Sat and Sun OT this weekend. Tax season almost over. SHuweee.

Yeah, Annie, I went for a 15 minute walk at lunch time. Not much but something. Food good today also. One day at a time.

This is going to sound silly, but I keep telling myself that food is yucky and full of boogers. So far it is working. I just keep chanting it to myself. Whatever works, I guess. LOL

Jiggly - You are on a great track, goodie for you! :^)

Debbie - Let's stick together and keep on trying. I know how you feel about up and down weight.

Girlie - Great job on the exercise the rest will come.

Holly - You busy little bee......I am having a hard time adjusting to this time change also. It is the first time Indiana has changed times in 30 years. Not getting dark till 9:30 pm just blows me away and makes it hard to go to bed early.

I didn't lose a sausage this week! But at least I didn't gain either!

Must have been my slight over exuberance at the weekend - new seafood take out opened and we decided to try it - food sucked so bad I ended up eating the white bread rolls as that was all I could stand! Then having eaten the white bread I decided I would eat some Quality St (choc). Saturday we went to the drive-in and I ate fries with my burger (again on a white bun!) but I did have diet coke!

Shall just have to be good ALL this week as I had 2 'treat days' last week!

Well done everyone keep on going. Not gonna post much as I feel like crap today. I have a cavity and silly me stuck a toothpick in it last night to remove some remnant of food and as I have my thumb in a splint I stuck it in too far and hit the nerve OMG! Nothing would calm the pain so I took a percocet, still no relief so 4 hours later (just before bed) I took another one. I slept really well, no wake ups for a pee but I feel like a zombie today. I am just starting to come around a little bit, queasiness is passing and I've lost that 'weak' feeling finally. Won't be doing that again in a hurry!

Oh, got my Tae Bo dvd, gonna start that tomorrow...wish me luck!

DH went to the gym with me for the 3rd time last night! We went Friday, Monday and Tuesday...although it does take some nagging on my part...I don't want to nag, but on one hand he tells me he wants to go, and on the other hand, he starts getting lazier the later it gets. We didn't start working out until 10pm, but I still got in 60 mins of elliptical, and he did 55 mins, and I was in bed around midnight and slept like a baby...I woke up at 6.30a but felt like I'd had 10 hours of sleep.

I hope to try to make it to the gym earlier tonite! DH is going to try on tuxes for a wedding he'll be in, and maybe that will get him more motivated...

Hi, I'm down another pound this week. I still can't believe i'm in the 20's again, but soooo far from the goal. I'm not having any problems with commitment. I exercise everyday and keep track of every calorie. I know that if I stay on track it will eventually happen, and that it can't happen any faster than it is, but I keep on thinking, why does it have to take sooo long. 27 pounds until 199.

Thanks Debbie, JB, and Annie! That's why I love coming to this board, I get such wonderful support. You all rock!

DS has hand surgery tomorrow, he is getting a little anxious about it. He hates needles, much less the surgery part. God love him.

DD is making me crazy with worry. She is 20, do I just let go and let her mess her life up. She doesn't seem to listen to anything.

Better get busy with work, since I am out tomorrow with son.

Annie~ being a young adult who messed up her life and made lots of crummy choices I recommend that you do what ever it takes so that she knows she is LOVED, IMPORTANT to you, VALUED, no matter what she does, that she has a safe haven in your heart and arms..............this is something I know for sure will matter to her and can change her life for the better in the long run. wish someone had given a rats *** about me at that age.In hindsight knowing I was loved would have made a big difference in getting thru the crap even if I did choose the wrong stuff. Dont give up or stop trying.

Fell asleep by 11:30, woke at 6:30.
I am so annoyed. Trying not to be upset and let it ruin my day but the construction is well on it’s way right in front of my house. 6:30 am...c’mon!!!! They went til 8:30 last night. 14 hours of noise, beeping and banging. AND they are using our driveway as a parking lot. 2 trucks wide, 2 deep and we cant get in or out and neither can my day care parents. I just called the township and asked for the trucks to be moved.I was sarcastic about not knowing our driveway was a public parkng lot. It made me giggle. Trying to find the humour in it. SO I am being forced to pay $15,000.00 I dont have to have me life completley disprupted for sewer service I am not allowed to use. WHATEVER!!!
Daily vent done.

DS has the dentist at 12:30. That is my excitement for today. Just 4 kids for the morning. 5 big kids in school.

Coffee is good, cheers.

I made oatmeal muffin yesterday that are good. I will use apple sauce instead of oil next time to cut the fat.

Holly~wow, I would try talking to the construction supervisor, explain that you work from home and that the parents need to get in and out of your driveway. Good luck!!

THings are good here DH and I made it to the gym Monday and Wednesday this week. I am aiming for a quick trip this afternoon, then again on friday with DH. Food has been good. I had a taste for hot dogs yesterday, so I treated myself, but I only had one. Dh and I split a soda and fries. THen we hit the batting cages behind the restaurant, and I took one round in the softball cage. I think I did pretty well, even though I was wearing Filp flops (sandals). Next time I will have to wear my gym shoes, just so I could get a better stance. HAve a great day all!!!

Had a decent food day yesterday. 60 minutes on the elliptical (4.3 mi). DH went with me again. Coughing allergy-type thing has begun so I took a Benadryl before bed and it knocked me out. I slept the 6 hours straight through. Gonna try to get to the gym earlier tonite so I can get at least 7 hours.

Have any of you tried Kashi Crunch cereal? I tried Kashi Good Friends cereal but it tasted like dirt...but this Crunch is great! I had some for breaky with strawberries and Lite vanilla soymik. MMMM.

Lunch is a corned beef/spinach wrap with horseradish and fruit. And a granola bar.

I have trouble with dinner. I always want to eat something heavy at dinner. But I know I'll be exercising later in the night, and anything very heavy will make exercise harder and uncomfortable, especially if what I eat is acidic. So that keeps me on track. Last night I chopped up some freshly sliced corned beef from the deli with egg beaters and mushrooms. It was very good! Tonite I don't have much in the fridge. I may just do a frozen dinner and add some fresh veggies.

I just thought about this - I log just about five hours of cardio a week. That's 20 hours a month, 1200 minutes. Weird. Sounds like a lot!

PS - At my WW meeting, we made Memorial Day goals. We wrote them on postcards that they will mail to our homes to arrive by Memorial Day. I don't usually make goals, but I wanted to do this one. I would like to have reached my 10% by then. I want to receive that postcard in the mail and smile becuse I know I reached my goal. How cool would that be? That is 7 full weeks - eight weigh-ins to go to lose 15 pounds. 1.9 pounds per week average.
