Thanks for this site. Watched last night and wrote down some of the info. Very helpful.
I have recently come back to doing IF tracking calories and exercise on MFP. My doc wasn't to happy about me fasting, so I tried other things for the last few month that hasn't worked. All I've done is gone up and down with the same 5 lbs never going anywhere. The only good thing is I haven't gained any weight, but I wasn't losing either.
I decided a few days ago that it doesn't matter what the doc says because I need control of T2 diabetes and that's one of the benefits of IF. Then I watched this site last night and decided that was all I needed to hear to prove that IF is the right decision for me. After all, it is MY health we are talking about here. Been doing this for only a few days and my daily exercise is back up to 45 minutes a day; I'm eating healthier food and I am already starting to feel great. Can't wait to see how this affects my blood work in a few weeks. I have blood work every 3 months and hope to have them drastically improved by the end of the year. Goal is to come off of the meds that I am taking.
My doctor is one of those good doctors who will see the test results and acknowledge what I'm doing when he sees the benefits working for me.
So glad to be back here.
