  • Hello everyone. It's been quite busy in here the last few days. I have had a hectic week to say the least. My calender looked like this:
    Monday- health dept app't
Tuesday- my dr.'s app't and glucose lab work
Tuesday night- Brett's meeting at school for upcoming field trip
Wednesday- logan sick and to Dr.
Wednesday- 2 1/2 hour IEP meeting at school for laken
    Thursday- Brett diabetes app't
    Thursday- laken dentist

All of this of course isn't counting the normal things you have to do and taking kids to school and picking them up and such. Today I have nothing to do outside of the home but pick them up thank goodness. I am beat and just want to rest a little bit.

My pregnancy seems to be going great. Sunday is my first "mini" goal. I will be 25 weeks which is when the twins were born and I really want to take my baby home with me this time so hopefully he will stick in there. The dr. has moved me to a scheduled c-section on May 17th which cuts my pregnancy off by 2 weeks so that is wonderful to hear. Hopefully I can bypass some of the real uncomfortable stuff. I am 3 pounds under my pre-preg weight so technically I haven't gained anything yet. I had that glucose test on tuesday but haven't heard anything from it. The baby should be at 2 pounds by now (know this cause I delivered at this time with twins). I don't know if I ever mentioned it or not but his name is Peyton. We haven't officially decided the middle name yet. I have 96 more days to go.

Talk about weather Gayle, I would love some snow too. I won't be so busy the next couple of weeks so maybe they could schedule us a nice little snow?? Wish it worked that way. We've been rather mild here. I think it was 28 degrees here this morning but suppose to hit around 50.

Daphne hang in there and know we are proud of you for losing weight. I know its something I have to face when this little adventure I'm enduring is all over. Have you made any progress in moving?

Donna I know you're proud of Elena and her accomplishments. I never got my kids involved in any extra curricular activities but I have too many kids to do that and I am just too tired. I envy anyone who can though. My kids are more into electronics than anything that requires moving anything more than their hands on those games.

Rosey how are we doing? Let's not be bragging about any snow now!! LOL When is the next event where all the kids and dogs come to see grandma??
  • HAPPY VALENTINES DAY everyone ((((((( ))))))))) rosey

  • Hi all.

Yes, I'm still around! I haven't been online since the last day I posted. I just don't like how this computer sucks the time.

Dana, I'm so happy for you and the family! I love that name, too. Did you get any snow from that storm that went up the East Coast? It missed us.

Daphne, Are you guys moving anytime soon? Congrats on losing some wt. Heaven knows I can't report anything like that!!

Donna, You sound like a busy lady...glad it's you and not me!!!

Rosy, How great that your family is coming in June! Where do they live? Is that where you grew up?

Our crazy lady here was arrested and has been placed in a facility where she will be monitered...hopefully! We are awaiting the trial (or something...I'm not sure I want to know any details)! All I know is that she is not here and that's fine by me!!

I'm also awaiting Spring! It's so gloomy. We have had a really light winter, though, so far....

Well, just checking in. Take care, ladies.

    Love,

  • Hi guys. Sorry for the lack of posting. I have had some issues here. On 2/17 at midnight I was in the ER with severe back pain and I thought it might be back labor and I was at the same stage of my pregnancy when the twins were born. They took me to labor and delivery and monitored me for about 3 hours on the fetal monitor. His heartrate was really well and they had told me originally that i was contracting but then took that back. Then they wanted a sterile urine sample with a catheter and was going to do that and told me I was leaking fluid. They tested for that and it was negative. Then they did the catheter and it hurt worse than any I had ever had but then again, I still had that severe back pain that wasn't lessening at all. I kept throwing up it hurt so bad. They drew blood and gave me a shot of phenegren in the rear end and gave me a percocet pain pill. The baby part was fine and they thought I was having a gall bladder attack so sent me back to the ER for tests.

Well after I get down there, they tell me my white cell count was up and I had blood in my urine and had a kidney stone. They finally gave me an IV with some demerol. There wasn't much use in talking to me until the pain was gone cause I didn't pay you much attention. Well then after all those meds, I was drowsy! They gave me a bag of fluids to flush my kidney and sent me home with prescriptions. I was told to strain my urine to look for a stone. Well then last Wednesday I had an attack again but dealt with it at home. It was so much pain for over 12 hours. Then on thursday I went to a urologist. They had me measure my output and wanted 2000 cc's which is a bit more than 2 quarts in 24 hours. Its easier said than done when you're PG and your bladder won't hold much. So I got that done and need to take it in for them too read. If I keep having the attacks, they want to do stint surgery. I haven't talked to my OB yet so I don't know what his input on this will be. I also failed my 1 hour glucose test and have the 3 hour test tomorrow and not looking foward to that long wait.

I hope you all are doing better than I have been but I know that in 11 weeks this will all be over and I will have a new set of problems awaiting me. LOL I have to keep my 9 wk old neice in a bit for my sister to go to the dentist. I hope she cooperates. She usually does but I was around her sat. and couldn't do anything when she cried so loud she wouldn't listen to you.
  • Bless your heart Dana I am so sorry for the Kidney stone. If it is anything like my gallbladder attacks I feel for you hunny. I need your address Dana the right one to send you a baby gift to? Email me or im it to me.
OK Have just a few minues here to talk. House was on market Thursday have had 1 or 2 showings a day. First offer they backed out, have second offer on table now.WE will end up with 162,000 and we owe 106,000. We have to find a place in Pierce County and I found the perfect place that I want. Jason is gone until Sunday so it might be to late, He wants to let the kids finish school before we move I say lets just move now. We have to be out pending sale April 17th. I was hoping they would let us rent back for the 2 months that we need. I have a showing any minute now so can't stay long. The realator is also coming to take more pictures of the house for the internet. I will post the MLS number in a few and let ya all see my place. I have boxes all over from packing and yet can't put them anywhere being as inlaws will be comiong here in 3 weeks. SO what am I supposed to do? I have to pack stuff but yet have noowhere to put the boxes damnit.
    Daphne
  • I think packing and moving are fun. The only thing I hated about ours last year is it took our entire summer away from us while waiting on this place to get ready. A lot of it was due to the rain we kept getting though. I am not feeling too bad today so far either. Logan is home with Strep and they have given Laken antibiotics too since she's been exposed. I'm more concerned about myself right now and trying to avoid it as much as possible. I took laken on into school and Brett is gone to Charleston for an over night field trip. Lord don't let him hear this but I miss him already. He's never been away from me over night.

Where is Donna and that Rosey?? Gayle??

  • Hey, chicks!

I am cancelling my internet service and am going to do my 'puter work at the library. It's soooooooooooo fast! That's another 12.95 I can spend otherwise each month. Deb's hubby has wireless that I can use, too.

Dana, I'm so sorry for your latest trouble. I'll bet you were scared out of your jammies!! If it is the right way to put it, I'm glad it was only your kidneys. If that's any comfort!!

Daphne, moving...good for you. I know it's what you want. It's a chore, but look at the bright side...what is the bright side? You will see Jason more often, won't you? He'll be able to help with his kids...at least he'd better!!

Rosey, no I did not know your name is Gale (even if you do spell it wrong ) How is the weather? Is spring on the horizon yet? It is here in Ohio. I saw crocus trying to stay warm enough to bloom. It was up to 70* Monday then today, Tuesday, it's 30* and snowing!!!

Well, girls, I've fallen in love again!!! I'm always a couple of years behind, but I just saw The Phantom of the Opera. OMG!! Do you guys know who Gerard Butler is??? I didn't, but I do now!!! I'd seen him in Timeline and thought he was the cutest, but as the Phantom, he sings! I've always been a sucker for a guy who can sing. Now I have to find the money to see the Phantom live on the stage...yes, I know Gerry (that's what us friends call him ) won't be the Phantom, but the whole "Phantom" thing is amazing! Anybody see it live?

What else? Ummm....cats are fine and I'm listening to CD's, watching movies, and reading (voratiously), and doing crossword puzzles since I cancelled cable. I know, boring!!

I'm going to close for now. I hope to be back sooner from now on.

Oh, yeah, weight! I'm getting ready to get ready to lose some poundage! I'll keep you informed.

    Love, Gayle
  • HI guys. Has anyone heard or seen Donna? It's been over a month since she's been on here and I was worried about her.

Daphne did you get my email? I did get your package and I thank you so much for the baby things. Once he's born I will send you a formal thank you card with his picture. You know you didn't have to do that but I did tell you that before you even sent it! Thanks again. Any word on your house? Are you still doing your weight challenge??

Rosey we have been near 80 degrees last couple of days and in the high 60's with wind today. I know how you love those grandbabies coming to visit. Have you made any cards lately? I have to admit that part of my life has been slack due to worrying about a baby. LOL

Gayle I am always so delighted to read your posts. I don't blame you at all for wanting to save money. I think they should give us free internet anyway. Most people have it and it should be just a way of life like breathing. LOL I hope you've gotten those decorations down by now! I am enjoying this spring weather too but they tell us to expect some 30's at night again these next few days.

I am doing fairly well and have 9 weeks to go. I can't believe I'm down to single digit number of weeks now but I wish it would speed up a tad bit faster. I have some of those "woe is me" days and wish it would all be over with. I think the baby weighs between 3 and 4 pounds now which is a huge step up from my 1 1/2 pound twins I had years ago. (they will be 11 on March 30). I am going to the dr. every other week now and this is my off week. They have me going on tuesdays and I think he may check for cervical changes beginning this next week. Anyone watching Idol this season? I love watching the "gray haired guy", Taylor sing. He's just too crazy.
