    Just wanted to pop in to say hello and that I hope everyone has a great on plan day


  • I just want to curl up in a ball and cry this morning. I'm so glad it's my day off with my fiance because I could use a little TLC. I woke up with awful B12 deficiency symptoms (I've noticed they're much worse with TOM). Luckily last week I got my insurance ironed out, or so I thought, so I made an appointment to get my B12 levels rechecked this morning (the next step to getting my shots). When I showed up at the lab this morning they said that my insurance is inactive so I had to pay out of pocket or reschedule. I've reached the end of my ability to wait any longer so I paid for it. When I got home I called them and it nearly 45 minutes but it's finally fixed and I should be getting a refund from the doctors as soon as insurance pays for today's visit. I'm exhausted. When my fiance shows up I'm telling him that I want to do nothing but lay on the couch and not exist to the world today. Except we have to sit down and figure out some wedding budget stuff and maybe go apply for a joint account so we're able to have a place we can keep our wedding fund and it's easy to transfer money into.

  • So sorry you're struggling Leah, hope you get some insight regarding the B12 soon.
    My Gp suspected B12 with me,then PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) then eventually I was diagnosed as Bipolar II. My totm crashes my mood for a few days before it arrives so I do suspect that PMDD goes hand in hand but the bipolar is my diagnosis.

  • I'm down a lb today to a new low of 190! That's 30 lbs total! Now if I can just somehow shed 4 lbs by the end of the month to make my August goal!

    GettinFit, you are doing great! You only have 2 more lbs! You can do it!

    Trayteam, yep, snacking will do it! Maybe try to drink more water and make yourself full between meals. That's what I do. I always have a water bottle with me. However, I don't like plain water, so I flavor it with Mio water enhancer. It helps tremendously! If you avoid artificial sweeteners however, you could flavor it with fruit: lemon, grapes, raspberries, etc. Good job on still losing despite the snacking!

    Leah, that picture is adorable but I'm so sorry you had a rough morning! But oh, what a bright side you have! You are going to start feeling better now that you have your B12 shot, you are going to be reimbursed for it, you have the day off, your fiance has the day off with you, you're making concrete plans for a future together, AND you lost a lb! All of that is wonderful!
