Ok got my walk in and 3rd day of 30ds done. I am hoping to get the dishes done. But first I am talking to my sister in NZ. Been kinda quiet in here today.

Glad to see everyone is ready for the challenge. I know I am. Just need to go grocery shopping now.

Dance and Mygrits-thanks for the encouragement. I know I have a lose coming. I just cant wait.

Ok, I am definitely impressed Maddie! Wow, you are doing far more than myself with workouts! I also say "bravo" for no cake yesterday!!! That would have been my weakness, on top of the salty stuff! I would have blown up! LOL.......You should feel better tomorrow and the salt should have been sweated out with that workout. I will add you to the list too for our start date.

Burgund you too deserve a 'Bravo' with the 30DS. I have got to get moving or your going to fly right past me!

Ok girls...so sorry on the delay...I did weigh in today at 186! Ugh...which means I gained a pound. Oh well...let the games begin is right. Im just warning you...Im ready to seriously kick butt, lol. My new "police man" "friend" is in AMAZING shape, I mean...like 16 pack, lol...so I need to catch up. Today was a weird day, let me tell you...

Saw my ex (husband) today and hung out, it was fun but he made me feel horrible. He keeps pushing to get back together but I just dont feel it and Ive told him this, I even told him that I am leaning more towards divorce and he's like "I have faith, we are going to get through this", now I know...its heart breaking when you read it, trust its even more so on my end...but, I cant force something that is not there. On a separate note, while he was here...the police man texted me and 2 minutes after he left, my ex bf stopped by to visit, one I have not seen in 4 years (when I saw him, it was on a "friends" running into each other basis...4 yrs ago me and my hubby were together)...anyway, I was like "what the? is it a full moon tonight or what?" lol. Anyway...I guess most girls would like this problem, huh?

Idk...I would catch up and comment on the post but I have such a headache and am going to call it a night. I am SO excited about this. Thanks for joining in girls and Dance, thanks for the details on the Amazon card...this should be good.

Lindy.......LOL...you crack me up! You have men crawling out of the woodwork! You go girl!! I remember when I split with the kids Dad, you drove me crazy wanting to work it out, and after 6 months I caved. I moved with him to Tennessee and after 2 weeks NOTHING changed and I was packing up heading back to Florida. He called for the next year, sending roses and all, but I knew my heart was no longer there. I don't believe in parents being together 'for the kids sake.' Children know when your not truly happy, and I would rather us be apart and happy, then together and miserable. I look back today and am so glad I listend to my heart. You do what is best for you and Gabby - true peace and happiness. Hey and 16 packs aren't bad either! Woo Hoo!

Guys - I'm so heartsick. I was taking my bf and his visiting dad home from dinner tonight and a dog ran into the street right in front of my car. I braked hard but it was all too fast since it was on a main-ish road. The dog amazingly got up and ran off afterwards but he has to be hurt. Unfortunately we couldn't begin to find a smallish black dog in the dark of the neighborhood. We called 911 and they contacted animal control with the info. I'm just dying over the idea of a family waiting for its dog to come home and not knowing what happened. The weird thing is that it was out on its own with a collar from the quick glimpse I got but no people around - must have jumped a fence or something, I guess. I'm such a careful driver, always expecting the worse to happen but it didn't help me at all this time. I feel so guilty and keep repeating the bit that I saw over and over in my head. Sorry to go on and on - just afraid to try to go to sleep with this so much on my mind.

Hugs to all and keep your loved ones (furry and otherwise) close! My cat is going to get hugged to pieces tonight and she'll have no idea why.

Awww....dance, Im sorry. That happened to me several years back and it just broke my heart, except I KNOW what happened to the dog I hit.

Anyway...Mygrits, you crack me up. And thank you for telling your story...what you said hit home so hard. Its like, I really, honestly dont want it but when he does and says stuff like that...it makes me want to cave.

OH - AND YOU ARE SO RIGHT MYGRITS! I have a MAJOR incentive with Mr. Policeofficer, lol...actually...Mr. Sargeant Police Officer, lol...hes cute, funny, successful, owns his own home, never married, no kids (but will accept a woman who does), is close to his family...and uh, yeah...that 16 pack isnt too shabby either, lol. So, although he is attracted to me how I am...it makes me want to go the extra mile for him (and me of course), so watch out now! lol. Ok...its 7 a.m. and Im actually thinking of going for a swim to start my day. Ill check in later girls.

Dance, I am so sorry that happened. I am sure the pooch will be fine. He may have run home out of fright. That happened to me when I first moved to Deland, and in my own neighborhood. I was a majorly stressed out single-mom that morning with both my children in the van. We were going out the back entrance to the neighborhood and a big, fluffy cat ran under the van. I freaked, the kids were yelling and all we could see was fur and she took off. I know for a fact the cat was really injured because I felt her under the van. It so broke my heart and I didn't use the back entrance for a a long, long time. Again, I am so sorry, but the fact he was out-of-sight means his legs and hips were fine, and I am sure he will be alright.

Lindy, LMOA, you are to cute and so right. It is almost a blessing Mister 16 came into your life, so you don't cave when it really isn't want your heart wants. I saw on FB you woke up at 6am, so wondered if you hit the ground running! LOL.........Ok, now I need to get busy to stay up with you! LOL

Hey girls...I just caught up on a weeks worth of posts, and if you'll allow me to be 1 day late, I'd like to join. I weigh 292.2 this morning, so put that as my starting weight. This is a great idea. Once the wedding is over (and in the next week leading up to it) I am cracking down big time. I am sick of hovering in the low 290's.

I also have a suggestion...maybe everyone could take a picture really soon so that like the biggest loser you have before and after pictures!

But I have to run cause we have to go to home depot for some stuff and get Don's haircut for the wedding! Are we still weighing in on Sundays? Cause this is the first one that I have actually made it on, and it doesn't look like anyone else weighed in, although everyone did yesterday.

Dance: So sorry that happened. And who knows, Animal Control could have found it and it could be ok.

Lindy: Curious...did you go swimming? As for you home situation, I agree with Sandy. If the feelings aren't there, you can't force them. Staying with him for his or Gaby's sake isn't the way to go. My parents had a horrible marriage and my mom didn't leave him until I was 20. Trust me, it's better to have a single parent than to live in a home where the parents are unhappy. I often wondered as a child why my parents didn't get a divorce sooner, so I think if you follow your heart, it will lead you where you need to go.

Tiff: Good luck with the wedding etc. What an exciting time! My hubby and I were talking about our's the other day and how we would do it again in a second.

Burgundy: Great job with the walking and 30DS. I haven't tried it since my original failure, but feel that I can't work out at home. I like going to the gym and just working out, not being a mom or wife while I'm there, just some me time, so kudos to you.

So, amazingly enough, I did my ultra tough workout yesterday (the one that made me sore for a week) and I wasn't nearly as sore this time. In fact, I got up at 7:15 this morning and went BACK to the gym. Did some more strength training and some cardio. Was home by 9:30, showered, got Maddie cleaned and dressed, went grocery shopping, and now I have the day to clean and do laundry. I'm quite impressed with myself. I'm taking tomorrow off because I have the personal trainer on Tuesday.

Morning, girls! So, I was 178 on Friday, ran and had around 1400 cal on sat, hiked 3.5 hrs yesterday and had 1560 cal and this morning the scale shows 180. No way in heck I'm changing my ticker - I must be retaining water or something but I'm so peeved. I wish the scale just measured bodyfat and not everything else since I don't really care about how much everything else weighs as it varies so much. I know it's just temporary but don't you guys find this kind of thing frustrating? No way did I eat enough to gain two whole real pounds but it bums me out anyway.

Maddiesmom - girl, you are a workout machine!

Tifftiff - hey there! Yeah, I think we all weighed in Sat instead of Sunday b/c of the new challenge. I'm sure we'll go back to Sundays again.

How did the rest of the weekend go for everyone?

Dance-I know exactly how you feel. I got on the scale yesterday morning and it said 221. I was so excited. Then this morning I get on it and I was back at 222. So frustrating. I am hoping it is back down tomorrow. I am going to drink plenty of water today. I really does bum you out. I am hoping the rest of the day goes better. Yesterday I got my 4th day of 30ds done, a really short walk with the dogs and then another walk last night with the 2 boys I keep.

Thanks for all the encouragement from everyone to keep going with the 30ds. If I didnt have you girls to cheer me on, I dont think I would keep it up. So a BIG thanks to you all.

Ok, I had all intentions of working out hard this morning and even went to bed at 11pm last night. Can you even believe I couldn't fall asleep! I tossed until 3am, then finally fell asleep until a cat starting crying at 4:30am for a mate. Talk about pissed off. I then fell asleep again until the cat went nuts again at 7am. So, getting up early to workout was NOT happening. I did go for a small walk at 10:30 (about 3/4 of a mile) and a small amount of gardening, but the heat just became too much. Soooo, maybe tomorrow??

Tiff, I did add you and am excited about you joining us in the competition. I do love the pic idea and if we can all get them on there (before we lose any weight) in the next couple of days, that would be great!

Dance, can I relate. I think you will see a lose tomorrow it you stay on it today. I have always heard your weight on the scales runs 2 days behind. Meaning what you did day before yesterday, will reflect tomorow. It talks that long for food to turn to fat and vice versa. I also heard that weight that shows immediately, the next day, is sodium.

Maddie - You are showing us all up! Way to go! Now, don't you fly past me on weight-loss! I'm going to catch you! The race is on........lol

I too am a pound more today, ugh..., but Maddiesmom has now made me want to go workout upstairs! lol

Guys - thanks for the encouragement! I'm going to stick to plan exactly this week and make progress if it kills me : ) I'm so sleepy at work today - couldn't fall asleep last night despite the killer hike so I think today's going to be a rest and recovery day.

Mygrits - totally relate on the insomnia front! Such a bummer. I'm hoping it helps me avoid late night eating tonight though as I'm planning to crash around 9 : )
