Sorry I haven't posted in awhile just been very busy and hard to get on the computer when everyone else needs on.
Wow the weather here has been awful. A little better today but all our schools are closed one of the major road ways is still closed it has been closed since yesterday morning. All the county roads are to be considered closed. I worked yesterdat and it was crazy there trying to make sure we had staff for all our shifts and making sure people who couldn't get home had places to stay. My daughter and grandson couldn't get home and my husband had to stay at a friends house as well. Im heading out this morning to blow the driveway because I can't get my car out.
Last night was weighin night needles to say didn't happen because I couldn't leave town to go to my meeting. I had a good week so I think I did fine next week should be good if I have a good week again this week. Well got to run the snow is calling my name.

Hi all just lurking around...seeing what everyone is up too. Sounds like people are stressed and the winter has gotten people down. Just rem spring will be coming and the birds and the fruits we love with be out in the stores! So there is hope!

Just hang in there...dont be in dispear..just rem we are all trying our hardest...and sometimes our there are pit stops ....but if it was all so easy then there would be nothing to feel proud of. If you eat bad...doesnt mean its over...thats the beauty of weight. It can be taken off....thank god!!

SO anyways im doing ok. Always battling and trying my best..working out and trying to eat healthy. However this weekend was my moms bday and i had some really good birthday cake with no regrets cause i have today to work it off along with the so many weeks!! And i am working it off...

Sister's surgery was successful. Mass was benign. Yay!

Don't think I congratulated you yet on new wheels (sometimes read posts in backward order due to time). I hate to go through the car purchase thing but just love driving a new one. I too had that kind of night. Woke at 3:20 from a dream I knew was a dream but didn't like anyway. Could not sleep so downstairs at 4:00. Two slices of raisin toast about 5:30 and a bowl of cereal about 10:30. I can see me being off schedule all day.

Also hope you're feeling better, Empress. And you as well, Arabella. Glad you had a successful party.

Well, my bad day just got worse (and it's not even lunchtime here yet!!)

I just got a call from my boss who chewed me out for something and I have no idea what she's talking about!! All I could do is say Ok, I won't do that anymore. Apparently yesterday I sent an important email and she's bent because I left someone off. So I sent it to that person this morning after I talked to them. She said what I sent this person and what she got where 2 different things. NO!!! All I did was hit forward on what I sent in the first place. It's immpossible for it to be different. She insists I doctored the email. WHAT THE *F* EVER LADY!!!
Then she has my manager go into our conference room for a phone conference (my boss and manager are 2 different people; both bosses, just I report to the manager who is always here. The boss is always offsite.) I know it was about me. I'm SOOO fed up here. I'm sure you guys have heard me before. But I'm scared to leave because I heard it was bad to do that if you were trying to buy a house (as we are trying to by my fiance's parents house by june or july) I also heard it's not so bad if you get a job that actually pays more. So I'm torn. I don't think I can get a job that pays more at this time. I was thinking about going to work for Molly Maids. Anyone ever worked for them? No nights or weekends!

Ok, I guess I'll get back to work. Thanks for letting me continue to rant today

Arabella, thanks for sharing your menu ideas. I'll let you know what I decide--samosas will definitely be on the menu though. Hmmm, I wonder if whole wheat tortillas would be a good fake for chapattis? [Oh, and I'm feeling tons better, thank you!]

Ceara, that might have been me doing 4 miles on the treadmill. It takes me about 54-58 minutes to do it and I'm really hoofing it then. And if you're new to treadmilling and going at a 3.9 mph pace you're doing amazingly well!

Frogger, Breathe, girl! You're right--you're having a horrible day. It's got to get better--hold that thought!

Dollar - I'm so sorry about the winter you're having, when out here it's sunny and bright. We've had a pathetic, wimpy winter - it snowed *one time* months ago. Completely abnormal.... and then places like where you are are just getting blasted. Stay warm and be careful out there!

Scooby - Yes! Spring is coming! Of course so many people here already have bulbs popping up (confused flowers). I too am looking forward to the fruits, longer days and less clothes (not that I'm runnin' around nekkid on May 1st, but'cha know what I mean??).

Frogger - You rant all you need. I have a co-worker/friend going through something similar. Nothing he does is right for his bosses - even when it's what they ASKED him to do. It's got to be frustrating for you. Just remember.... breeeeeeathe..... then at them!

Yes, I love the new wheels, the smell, etc. It rides like a dream - I'm actually looking forward to my drive to California next month! (but not so much the plane ride though!).

Eydie, Eydie, Eydie.... you've created a monster . I've spent every freakin' second of my spare time reading a story on Fanfic. Completely far fetched - and completely engrossing! It's become new "escape reading" for me.

Ah joy! For the second time this week I have managed to get in an outdoor walk (about 30 minutes each). Not great but more than I've been able to do for months. And today it was just about freezing when I did it. But I feel SOOOO much better for it. And I had a nap, Empress, so I know why that would win and will probably help you stay awake during the bored meeting. So embarrassing to nod off when covering such interesting people.

Dietician at clinic says I can give dh a little spag sauce with his meatballs and pasta this evening. Not much but she's hoping to perk up his appetite a bit. I'm getting the impression I've been holding to his prescribed nutrition just a mite too tightly - that is I've been following the directions but then here and there they'll say "well, he needs thus and so" so maybe I'm gonna loosen the noose and bit and do a bit of common sense changes now and then so he actually gets more nutrition by eating food than having them add stuff during dialysis. At least until he's tested again later this month. Then if we need to tighten totally, we do.

Anyway, today was a better day. Don't know if it was the good news about my sister, the walk, the sunshine, dh driving himself to dialysis or all of the above. But it was better. also am more convinced than ever about that little come and go bug. Neighbor was telline me that he and coworkers have had something similar. So now no need to beat me up over that.

Sale on chicken tenders so stocked up a bit. Always good for a quickie meal on the Geo Foreman. Feel like dancing - just no partner. Spring, spring, spring, spring. (After VD and St. Patrick's challenges, of course.) With any kind of luck, maybe I can break the 200 by Independence Day - first I've looked that far ahead poundwise. getting cocky.

Wow seems like forever since i posted here, well still in school lots of assingments and stress to go with it . but im there, have three writing papers due in a week. my head hurts but i missed you all, so i just spent the last 30 minutes reading up on all the posties i missed. cant beleive how you guys can talk.lololol

thanks for the interest in my schooling, and hello to all i missed you . i have also been fighting depression with medicine its a bummmer but i cant fight it off. look at the world/???? how am i suppose to think of my future and war at the same time??? its very scary to me. i keep focusing on God and i dont know what the future holds but he does, i have to think positive, but it s hard somtimes. i worry about everything. well i have to take my son to church hes in awanas, kinda like bible school, seee ya later..

We are back on!! Only one computer at a time but at least we have resolved part of the problem. And since DH is still recovering, he isnt that interested so here I am.

How nice to be missed!!

I also send my daily thought to by email and have heard from a number of folks wondering where I had gone.

Honestly, it does seem like blue moon as it seems everything that could go wrong is....lost a brand new remote starter for my car ( it was just installed Sat!), am getting calls at work regarding things that on the second reading are being interperted the opposite of how I processed them... and then finding out 3 hrs later I was right in the first place.... I called to check on something and was told they hadnt recvd it so I spent 2 hrs embarrassing myself by calling many other contacts asking if maybe I sent it to them... we were almost to the point of telling the client when I called the first place back again to double check...and spoke w/ someone else who took 5 minutes but when they came back told me..." Yes, that was filed w/ the state this morning".........Wonder when the first person was going to call me back to let me know they found it after all??

And did I mention the computer???

Ah well.........whaddya gonna do.......

Maybe if you offer to have someone else send the email they recvd from you to the person, then they will realize its the exact same email. Just a thought.

Sometimes you just have to "grin and bear it" in more ways than one, my lovelies.

Did I mention last Saturday that I bought myself a Ceramic teapot for the stove. With a whistler in the lid? The top is large enough yoiu can fit your hand in w/ a sponge which is nice. Sure beats the sauce pan I was using to heat up water!!

PS- Did I mention that DH and I found the Misto Pump I've mentioned before at BJ's?? The price was aprx the same as what we paid but at BJ's it comes as a "gift pack" boxed w/ a bottle of olive oil. So its a better value. I'm thinking I'll give a friend one as she already loves olive oil but still uses those sprays.


Need to stop and get water on the way in to work so....

hello all
I'm hoping for a better day today.

Actually, I'm already having a better day. I suddenly decided to weigh in this morning and I am down 2lbs (now I'm 230). I have hit my mini goal already for the Valentines Challenge!!! I can't believe it. I don't think I could have met my goal though without being sick with the stomach flu last week. That's really bad to say, I know. But moving on. I'm very happy considering I at 2 egg mcmuffins for breakfast, at lunch, had 2 goo goo clusters and a big n'tasty in the afternoon, AND had 2 grilled cheese sandwhiches and a cereal bowl of salad for dinner. Man was I a yesterday. It was all stress. Today I WILL do better.
So far I have eaten a bowl of honey bunches of oats w/almonds and added half a snack box of raisins to it. I'm thinking of switching to a higher fiber cereal like bran flakes and adding my raisins. For some reason, I'm on a raisin kick. Maybe my iron is low or something. I want raisins in my cereal, I want raisins for a snack in the afternoon. Gotta have them!

Anyway, finally got a minister who said he had an associate who would be available for our date. His associate was supposed to call last night. He didn't. He had my home and cell number. No call. My fiance and I talked about what we're going to do if we can't find someone. Our wedding is on a saturday and he figured we could just go to the courthouse on friday and get married, then have the "wedding" on Saturday. I don't know how I feel about that. I suggested in the beginning just going to the JP so we wouldn't have to pay for a wedding. (We're paying for the entire thing ourselves) but he would hear nothing of it. But if it's what we have to do...
As you probebly know, (I think I posted it) that I gave my future MIL 1 thing to do for the wedding. Find a photographer. She has yet to even attempt to do this. So I've been frantically searching and most are busy that day. One came back with he has the time, but his packages start at $2400 with a $500 deposit. WHAT???????????? Start at $2400? Geez louize. No thanks
