It's beautiful here - I love the snow, but I've had enough snow for one storm.
I've been shoveling off and on all day and I can feel it now that I've been sitting for a while.....

In todays paper...for you "snow" bound-ers....

No snow here---- but it is cold! This morning it was 16 and I think we were supposed to get to 22. Gary, the geraniums are froze now so no more blooms for this year. My Holly Berry tree is about stripped of all the berries. There must be a 100 birds out there everyday!! What a mess...

Bummer on the berries KAREN...I have been watching a little tiny bird hop across my patio, it goes between my gardenia and rosemary pots...not sure what it is doing...if the dogs are in the family room and see it the chase is on...

my dogs always lose at chase...

FYI ~ my computer says it is 39 degrees here....WHAT???!!! Went out to my gauge on the back of the house...

I knew the computer was wrong....

I have it at 41.....whew....

Our doggie likes chase too, but the rabbits and squirrels always win-I think they intentionally torment Kasey by waiting just at the end of her cord's range, then (the squirrels, anyway) they'll jump up on the swingset and then to the higher tree branches, yelling at her the whole time! She has actually tried to climb the tree to get to them!

My huge white pine is loaded with snow. Her branches are touching the earth and look like skirts. The branches start a good 15 feet up so you can imagine how much snow is on them. I'm going out to CAREFULLY knock off some of it.

I'm gonna go knock off a few of the lemons off this lemon bush before it collapses!

Angie asked me this morning if I think we lost the lemon crop with the cold 40 degree weather...

Gary, you're just asking for a beating.

-15 when I was going to the gym this morning. At lunch, it was a balmy 11 degrees. I hate cold weather.

Poor Gary.... no snow to shovel, no ice to chip away, no slippery roads to drive on...

You're missing out on life's major joys, Gary.

but then I'd have to give up earthquakes....
