Sorry for being silent for probably 2 weeks now! I have been weighing in (go Rebels!) but I've just been busy some days and PMS-y other days.
Last week was ROUGH weight-loss-wise... I went to a meeting/retreat (luckily right here on campus) Tuesday to Thursday, so there was constantly food, wine, beer, etc around. The one constant was fresh fruit, they had that at every single meal/snack, so I ate a lot of fruit, but also a lot of desserts. Of course, evening events meant no real exercise for a few days. Friday I was dedicated to being back on track.. and then we went out to a bar to celebrate a lab-mate getting a paper published, and I had 2 beers (pints - I'm tiny, that's a lot for me) and a little popcorn... then promptly came home and did a workout DVD. I was still sore yesterday... turns out I work a lot harder when I'm a little tipsy, lol. Not that I'm recommending it!
Well, I've got a lot of work to do... we have an undergraduate working in the lab for the summer, so I have to answer questions and show him how to do things, and somehow get my own work done at the same time.
