Summer I don't know much to say for the rash but rest assure that anything you take like meds. will make your sugar go up. Once the medicine is over the sugar is more in control. They probably gave him some kind of steroid. My grandpa had those issues after the bee stings the other day. Also when your body is under attack your pancreas goes into over drive to bring sugar down and with diabetes you don't have that advantage. I wouldn't be too afraid of the sugar climbing. It may be to his advantage to take a little insulin along the way during medicines or to increase his glucophage to the 500 mg per day dose. That's why I say that you have to go to an endocrinologist for diabetes. They know so much more because it's their specialty and that's how I"ve learned so much about it. With the rash, it sounds like he may be allergic to something. My nephew had something similar to that back in the summer and they gave him steroids for it. I wonder if it has something to do with work. Like something he's come in contact with on the job that his body wasn't used to. I will certainly pray for the both of you.

Donna I"m so sorry about your day as well but I commend you on having the nerve to share that with us. If I lost it, I probably couldn't tell you all. Do you know much about Elena's birth family? Like if there's anything medical in her genes? If the biological mother had a good pregnancy? I have a friend who has an adopted daughter she's had since she was 1 day old and she is a pistol as well. She just turned 8 in august and they have a time with her as well. I hope I didn't stick my foot in my mouth by asking any of that cause I'm sure you would know anyway.

Well I have something I wanted to do prior to picking the kids up. That funeral starts in 15 minutes and DH left a about 30 minutes ago and looked so handsome in his Johnny Carson suit.

Thank you, Rosey and Dana for your kind, caring words. I really am very fortunate to have such good friends here. It's not any where that I can feel the freedom of admitting that I "lost it" LOL
I don't have that much knowledge of how good of a pregnancy Elena's birth mother had with her. All I know is that she did carry her to term and she did have a hard time delivering her because she was breach. The birth father's health matters is not known since the idenity of that such person was never determined. Elena has some neurological issues that we need to find out how to deal with. She is normally a very caring, smart child. This is not a behavioral issue we are finding out more and more about but there is some normal 8 year old things going on too so it's really a fine line on figuring out what can be helped and what can't be helped. My real intentions of letting all that out was to remind myself that I thought *I* had problems... Poor Summer keeps hitting one wall after another.
Anyway, Glen hope your trip goes well. Watch those points now!

Hey, one thing good about having all that endrenaline flowing is I have a CLEAN house! You should of seen me going full speed ahead cleaning my house when I was so upset.

We had another "incident" this evening. But this time it was in front of her Daddy too and we both were calm. I didn't lose it this time.

Hi everyone..hope all is well with everyone of you ..we had a nice time last nite..i was glad to see my dh get his 15 yr appreciation award..it was happy sad as hes now med. retired but thought he needed this..and to see his co-workers etc..they even gave me a huge flower arrangment..and the food was great..prime rib..yum..i stayed on pts tho..yay for me....and tonite i am going to bingo..its nice to get back to my normal routine..will check in on you all later rosey

Hello Everyone.. I am so sorry that I have been missing in action.. ..I have been in the process and still in the process.I am of helping a lady build my WWW site for my DJ thing.. I am so excited and its not to costly..A friend of a friend is buiding the site for me with my help and input..I am learing alot..but PLENTY TO LEARN...
I want to THANK YOU ALL for all the very sweet concern and help you gave about Jim and whats been going on.. The good news is the rash is fading and that Jim's sugar had dropped but its still up and down.. We see Our Regular Dr on Tuesday and then we will see if we can be refered to a specialist.. Jim doesnt want to do that cause he really likes our PC Dr and so do I but as Dana says its alot when it comes to Diabetes..and I a specialist knows more..
Just a few quick words to all of you..cause I have mised you all..

Rosey... I am so glad that you are getting back to your old self.No pun intinded.. I am happy that you are able to go back to Bingo.. I wish you big $$$$$$$ winnings and it souded like a great retirement party for your DH.. That was so nice of his co- workers..and you staying OP..YOU GO GIRL.. Summer that website is real cool. You have to get it into some search engines now though and I dont' know much about that but if you try to search something like that say on google, see if it shows your site.

I will post more when I feel like it. I'm suffering from a urinary tract infection and my bladder is dancing or something. I went to the dr. finally today after 2 days of it and got some antibiotics. It's been a year since I've had one this bad so I had forgotten how bad it feels.

Rosey, I would have mixed feelings as well if it was snowing here. It was much cooler last night and had to turn the AC off again! LOL It's a gorgeous day here today. Too bad you didn't do well with the big winnngs but I know it was like winning big just being out.

Bad news is never ending sometimes it seems. Remember my cousin I asked prayer for who had a lumpectomy done last week? Well, she got bad news from the pathologist today and she has to have a mastectomy. I have not heard from my Aunt's biopsy yet.
