  • Mara, I may be in the next decade, but we're still really close!

I'm cheering you on!!!! :-) You can do it!
  • Thanks KarinRose! Hopefully this time I will continue to go down.

    And you are doing awesome!!!
  • Is it OK if I peek in to say " You go girl! " every now and again?

Hang in there! You can do it!!
  • It is more than okay. I would love the support and encouragement!
  • Well, I saw 243.2 on the scale. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
  • Still swimming. LOL
  • Way to hang in there, Mara! The scale is moving in the right direction. It's only a matter of time.
  • Thanks Streudel! I appreciate you cheering me on.

I got 242.8 this morning. My usual trend is to get to this weight and then I go back up. That is not going to happen this time! I really want to push through this barrier.
  • Hey ya'll! I popped back up to 250 again after the weekend but am back down to 245.6 this morning! I took some pics before the gym yesterday and can see some definite body changes. The scale is not really reflecting those changes though
  • Hey Silverfire! It is awesome you can see the changes. Just hold on and the scale will follow suit.

I am still at 242.8 this morning, and that is okay. Hopefully tomorrow will show a loss on the scale.
  • I hope everyone has a great Friday!
  • We'll I've been bouncing around in the low 240s this week. I'm mostly in denial. I will give myself two weeks to get things figured out...then I have to change my ticker. Posting this here to keep me honest.

In good news, ran my first 5k today. Learned an important life lesson: if you don't want to have to walk longer chunks of it don't go out drinking the night before! ;-) Still proud though. And now I have a base time to work on beating!
  • I am so excited! I hit the 240's this morning.
  • Don't worry Karin. I just know you will be back in the 230's and steaming ahead to the 220's in no time! Congrats on the 5k!!!

    Welcome activeadventurer!
  • Back to swimming. Trying not to be negative, but I know better.
