Well its quite rare to find a 16P or a 16 misses in most lines and stores... even if they actually exist which is usually not the case. But yeah I shop and shop and despite all the challenges still manage to have a very nice wardrobe.
There totally IS a size inbetween.. it just doesn't exist in the USA. In the plus size stores in Canada we have a size called "X", it's not an XL, and it's smaller than a 1X. One of our plus size stores actually starts at a size 12, go figure eh! Our sizes are SO different I find, like, a plus size 16 fits me the same as a regular size 16. Sizes are just confusing and annoying at times.
I used to have a lot of luck with GAP XL's in stretchy fabric when I wanted a change from MXM tops.
I also second the LAne Bryant bra's, they are SO much better than any other bra's I can find. However I don't really do pretty bra's, I'm more into seamless slightly padded bra's. I'll be sad when I'm out of their sizes, they should go below a 38!

Curvation is a line of plus sized bras at Wal-Mart that are wonderful as well. They are made for fuller figures with heavier straps, and more support-but they are GORGEOUS. All colors and styles-some with prints. They are gorgeous!
