Marny, I thought your story very inspiring. The lowest of lows is needed to see the highest of highs in my opinion.

I was so inspired by your story. You will be great as a speaker. I love going to speaker meetings becasue while everyone is different we all have our disease in common and I get motivated by others stories.

I have just purchased 3 books on line.I am also unable to attend meetings due to work.I think you are amazing.I hope you continue to post suggestions for us trying to follow OA who are unable to attend meetings.I am agnostic.I do believe in a higher power.I was very happy that my books addressed those of us who are either agnostic or atheist.I just struggle with a lot of things right now, religion included.I envy those who believe in something.I have no idea what to believe at this time in my life.
