Vickie,
Honestly I would love to say that I drank all my water all the time but I can't. I'm terribly addicted to coffee and some days I'd do without a single drop of plain old water. I do drink alot of crystal light, and wal mart carries their own brand that is equally tasty and costs alot less.
Excercise (other than walking) came into the routine after the first 80-90 pounds came off. Think about carrying around all the extra weight.. just getting out of bed was cardio enough. Regular excercise at the gym is not my favorite methood. It bores me to death and there are mirrors everywhere (ick). I just try to squeeze it in however I can. I'll do laps around the mall (parking lot - way off in the outler limits) before I actually go inside the mall for some well deserved shopping.
I also play video games as a means of excercise... LOL yes you read that right VIDEO GAMES.. and it's a blast! I have Dance Dance Revolution for playstation2 (along with the floor mats) and I get on that game with my girls. I can play for hours and completely forget that it's meant to be a workout.
I think a huge part of my success comes with the realization that if it's (whatever you are doing) boring, mundane, tedious, bland etc...I'll hate enough to quit. I don't see the core program as a program at all (that's too close to "diet" for my comfort). I like to think of it as my new lifestyle

A very challenging lifestyle, but a fun one (with clothes that fit right).
I also keep this thought in mind - Enjoy today and dont feel guilty about it tomorrow. Don't punish yourself for slip ups. Remember how and why they happened today, and when the sun rises tomorrow move on and move foreward.
