In the darkest moments at least there is some light - your friend is alive and OK, which easily could not have been the case. I do hope that the perpetrators are caught and brought to justice and that your friend can find healing from this terrible ordeal.

Keep your fingers and toes crossed! I just got word that they apprehended two guys in her vehicle around 4am. Shes on her way downtown to ID them (if she can)...apparently they are juveniles and can only hold them for like 6 hours?? What the ****?? Anyway I am praying its them and that she did get enough of a good look at them to ID them. Then theres always DNA if one of them was the one that raped her. You see she was blindfolded almost the whole time, and well when they did take her blindfold off she was careful not to look at them....ugh....but she DID see them when they were approaching her.

June, I am soooooo sorry for your friend. It sounds like she was lucky to escape with her life, she is also lucky that she has such a good friend in you. Hopefully the trash that did this to her will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Many hugs to you and your friend.

well it wasnt them..but i had a feeling it wouldnt be. but at least now they have the vehicle and 2 people that KNOW something...

I really hope your friend will recover from this without too much damage. I know everybody’s thoughts right now are all about catching the *******s that hurt her, but in the long run she will need your help to recover emotionally. My thoughts are with both of you and keep us posted.

i'm so glad you posted this here. i stopped right after i read your post and immediately prayed for your friend and for you. i pray that you both will have the strength to make it thru this. that you both know that God is there with you no matter how bad it may be. he has not deserted you two at all. he is there to carry you through this. i will definately keep you both in my prayers and thoughts.

Wow, I remember watching the news either Saturday night or Sunday and seeing that a woman had been abducted from Greenway Plaza, but at that time they could only say that there was a 'possible' sexual assault. I'm glad to hear that she seems to be in a good frame of mind. Please pass along our support to her...
