Thank you ladies... I think most of the shock has worn off and the embarrassment. A lot has happened since I wrote. Hubby's boss went to bat for him and the commissioner said that he believes that hubby wasn't involved BUT... If they hire hubby back then it would set a presidence and they would have to hire everyone back and IF he did come back that in April (when the budget cuts would happen) hubby's job is one of the 1st to be cut. It has been terrible but our friends and our church have been VERY supportive.

A friend called me (not knowing what we were going through) and had a job offer. We have sent a resume in for this opportunity and we'll see. I can't get excited because I have been on too much of an emotional ROLLERCOASTER this past week. I will keep you updated.

Sorry to all that I have been missing for awhile. I have a terrible cold and a fibromyalgia flare up that are keeping me pretty well occupied. I only lost 1 pound this week- but considering the week I have had, that is ok with me.

Sorry to cut this short but I need to get some rest.

Ahhhh... things have been okay.... I am past the anger I think and just ready to move on... We can't afford an attorney and I am not sure it would make a difference if we fought it or not... the community is going to believe what they want to and our friends know what is true....

I just wish that they wouldn't have smeared our name.

Donna - No, the job isnt' out of town, I just had the first interview out of town. Tomorrow, I go to the second interview. I've really got mixed feelings about all of this.

On a new note, I think we are about to move into our own house! We have been renting/otherwise known as throwing our money out the window, and I do believe that we are going to close pretty soon on this deal. So, I don't know how often I am going to be able to write to you all, but I will do my best. I really have to kick it in gear and start packing. I'm not sure how much baby girl is going to cooperate with that!

Between this job thing, a potential move on the horizon, and not being able to find a trustworthy babysitter, I am about to go crazy! I'm sure that all will turn out just fine, I need to just focus on one thing at a time.

I feel the same way.... I go down 3.5 in a week and gain back 3/4 pound and who knows this past week (I skipped weigh in because I was in Cleveland)

Hey mixed nuts..I'm still here and I'm still commited...just nobody else has been on here..I felt like I was talking to myself...I've been doing good on eating and so so on exercise cause I've been sick for the last week and a half...but I'm feeling better now and I'm back at it again

I haven't heard anything about gloria...she just disappeared at the start of this month..I hope she is ok..

Kristy - have you tried to zig zag your calorie intake..Have a few high days and a few low days so that your weekly average is where you want to be..I started doing it the last 2 weeks and I started losing more..

I'm doing pretty well with my eating. I haven't lost this week, but I've maintained, which is ok. I need to get my fat tushy moving!!! I have a new problem--Night Nibbles! Arrrgghhh!!!! Any ideas how to beat this? My willpower has crumbled......

Well I had just typed tons of stuff to you guys but it deleted on me by accident and I am visiting family and dont have time to retype. I am in Boston and got to see George Carlin last night at the Wang Center, omg, it was hysterical.

Baby is doing so much better, turns out she had RSV. Shes def on the upswing of things and all done with the cough and runny nose.

I am interested in keeping up with the group, although I have been so busy lately with the sick baby that you wouldnt know any different.

I hope this isnt the end of us, I dont think I could find another group of ladies like you.

Hi all. I am still with you all too. Things have been very busy as my last school term just ended...now I am trying to prepare for the next one starting this week! All is well with my dieting. I am still losing steadily even though I didn't work out much last week since I was very sick....seems like everyone has been sick! I went shopping a few days ago to buy clothes in a size smaller! I was ecstatic! I actually want to show off my body now (within reason of course). I know that I am not at my goal yet- but I haven't looked or felt this good in awhile!

You have all been in my thoughts...I hope we can all stick through this dry spell on this site cause I really need you guys!

Marion- I have always had issues with the night nibbles. I plan on this now and try to watch what I eat during the day a bit more to counteract my snacking at night. I also try to focus on having only healthy snacks at night...I have been eating a lot of fruit recently and it seems to be helping a bit.

Kristy- I truly hope you are able to get over this hump- I agree with the suggestion of having higher and lower calorie days, it is definetly worth a try!

Morgan- sorry to hear about your sick little angel...I am so happy to hear she is doing better though!

Well, I'm still here too. Guess what? I got the job! I start next Monday. It also looks like we are going to move. Soooo, I have been trying to pack anything that we don't have to have to live with every day, like TOYS! My boys should be ashamed! They have enough to supply kids in a third world country! Sorry that I haven't had much time to write to you all, but you are in my thoughts daily. I hope that everyone is doing well. I've been in and out so much, that we all are eating really weird right now.

I flat forgot to weigh in last week, I think I was busy packing, and just lost track of the time. The next thing I knew, it was time to get the boys from school, and I had missed my weigh in. I have a real bad feeling that in won't be good anyway. Onward and Forward! By golly, I'll get these pounds off one day!
