I am very new here so I thought I would say hello. I have 200 pounds to lose and so I am glad to have found this site.
At present I am doing the low GL diet by kind of by trial and error but it seems to be working for me right now. Is anyone else doing that diet here? It seems to make a lot of sense but then dont they all
Surprisingly, I find that my tastes have changed already. I say this because I used to eat white processed bread (inhale really) at every meal, but yesterday I had one slice because I had run out of oat bread and it tasted absolutely vile. Interesting! Who'd have thought? Also, I havent had one moments hunger since i started it .. has to be a good thing yes?Hope this finds you all well. I look forward to getting to know you all better.

But I have just been feeling sooooo sleepy...I thought maybe the caffeine would do me good, and I don't like coffee or tea.
Actually, I've already planned tomorrow's food as well, so I know that I can have up to 2500 calories per day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and still end up with an average of only 1800 cals per day for the week
These are great ladies...you'll like it here!
It really gets you moving too!
to 3FC, and the forum! This is a great group of ladies, and they have all really helped me stay on track with my diet and exercise! Hope to see you around!

Whether or not he does have a growth problem, right now it is imperative that his heart and lungs strengthen and he does more on his own.. that is the first priority. The doctors have been very negative, except for the lady we spoke with today. It is very disheartening at times, though I suppose they have to prepare you for the worst-case scenario. Everyone around us though (including many of the nurses who care for him around the clock) seems to have a good feeling about little Owen, and I think that despite everything that is working against him, he is going to find a way to pull through. Every prayer and little bit of positive energy means SO MUCH! Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
