This weekend was a lot of fun. On Saturday, Brian and I spent 7 hours working at the petting zoo. The animal shelter provided the animals and we spent time watching the gate and trying to keep the kids from injuring the animals. Why would a kid think it was okay to stomp on a turtle 4 times? We also had one who put a turtle in the water dish. These are land tortoises - not water turtles! Oh, well, everyone had lots of fun. Yesterday was our usual 3 hours at the shelter. They had one dog that was small and calm enough that Brian could walk him. That really made his day.

Yesterday was the first day of Sunday school. Brian is in RCIC trying to get caught up on all the stuff he missed by not going to Sunday school before. Seems like a nice group of kids so I think he will do well.

I am back to where my ticker says I am, after a couple days bouncing around, probably due to going off plan Sat?
I am still struggling with my endocrinologist and her orders, so I am doing a consult/2nd opinion with another doc, as soon as I make time to call him - gee I could be doing that now!
Great breakfast and lunch so far. I just don't have the time to walk today at lunch - gee I could be doing that now!
Marianne - so sorry you witnessed that, but I agree with previous poster, you may be that lady's angel. I can't imagine my little one seeing something like that, your little girl is very lucky to have a mommy who cuddled her and made her feel safe after that!
RNMom - boy, I can relate. Sat morning it was like my son's leftover waffle with syrup just JUMPED into my mouth. I wanted to get irritated about it being in the house, but like you said, it was MY hand that put it in MY mouth!
Weezle, you just can't tell men anything! Ankle or food, it's all the same - their way and then shocked at the consequences!

Well I tried to log on to the 3FC Forum and my company has blocked it! I can log on to the website, but the forum is a no-no!

I will try to check in during the evening, but you won't be hearing much from me.

The weight has stalled at a 40 lb. loss. It looks like I am going to have to start exercizing! Yuk! With the weather cooling down walking will be a pleasure.

I hope everyone is doing well! I will miss the daily thread and the comraderie! I enjoyed checking in in the morning and again at lunch! I may be blocked, but I'm not out!
