  • Quote: Kim, do you know why the multivitamin can't contain iron?? I'm just curious...
    Hi Veggielover,

The reason a multivitamin without iron is recommended is because we tend to get plenty of iron from the veggies & protein we eat. Too much iron can be toxic to the liver.

    All the best to you!

    Kim
  • I'm going back to induction. I was on for 3 weeks then switched to the next
phase and after week 6 I started to have cravings and started to think I should become a vegetarian and started eating high carb foods and gained
3 pounds...all in my tummy and hips! Yipes!!! just in time for summer
Sunday it's back to induction and from what I've read here and on other
boards I'll stay on induction until I get close to goal.

Oh Man, I hate having a poke-out tummy again just from eating sugar and
carbs. I know I can do this and I feel like crap too. I feel calm and relaxed
on low carb. My thinking was clear, people and things didn't annoy me
and I liked exersizing because I could see results FAST!

    Well, I sold myself!

  • I wanted to add that using the Low Carb tortillas for pizza crust sounds great. I never tried this, but may try it soon. I use these tortillas basically as a substitue for bread all the time. The ones I use are whole wheat and only 4 carbs for the small ones. Has anyone else tried taking a LC tortilla, smearing it with cream cheese, add a piece of ham, chopped black olives and green onions. Roll it up and cut it in appetizer size pieces. Me and my kids all love these.
