Me too! I'm moving July, so I had to sort out my piles

Yah I have piles too! Last time I moved my boyfriend had to carry the heavy boxes of magazines I "had" to save. He said never again, he will not ever move my magazines again! So I definitely have to sort and pitch! I got a binder and some loose leaf paper and a glue stick and have been trying to go through a couple each day, cutting out all the articles I can't live without... not that I ever really needed them when they were just sitting in stacks collecting dust! But I am not getting rid of any of my M&F HERS.
  • Another magazine addict here too! I was so upset when they stopped the M&FHers subscription because that was really good. I like Fitness RX for Women and Oxygen but only buy occasionally. If you look online there are a lot of places you can get free magazine subscriptions either for 3 months or a full year so I am the mazagine supplier for everyone I know at my gym (In Touch, US Weekly, Shape, Jane, Glamour etc). Going through www.mypoints.com is a good idea. Oh and if you sign up you can always say you were referred by me, lizzbabe haha.
  • I used to have a hard time throwing out magazines, but now I tear out all of the articles and recipes that I want to keep. I have an expansion file full of magazine recipes sorted by course and main ingredient (I skim through them every couple of weeks and pull out a few to try). I put all exercise ideas in a binder, sorted by type of workout and body part exercised (I just use a 3 hole punch right on the magazine pages). I have a second binder for articles that I want to keep, sorted by general topic area. Every so often I go through all three collections and take out clippings that I've saved that I am no longer interested in saving.
