2 fantastic thangs lol
It is Sit up Saturday and I have walked my 6 miles!!! Wooo hooo!!! And, my time went down 2 min/a mile... OK so I normally walk a slow 20 min mile anyway, but still... I'm happy that I've improved by 2 min even when it was killing me!!! lol
Second thing.... I'm going home to visit my fam and friends in NY/NJ!!!! YAY!!! I miss everybody sooo much and I'm so excited!!! DH is out on a boys night out and I've nobody to talk to lo so I'm posting away!! I've been trying to get a flight since like last year, seriously! (one of my BF is getting married on the 11th and the thought of not being there was KILLING me! Anyway, I've never paid more than $550 to fly to England so I was trying to get a ticket round that price and up to two weeks ago flights were like $800 US, but I held on and *Beat* the system!! lol Mind you, I leave in like ten days! Ok... off to try and box this warm and fuzzy feeling...

But before I go...
Synn.. welcome back! I hope your FIL is better..

Everyone, be good to yourselves!

I had another lowblood sugar reaction on Wednesday afternoon, but this time it happened to be at the end of my work shift so I was able to go home and rest. But boy those next two days I was wiped out, my body just ached. And yesterday was my daughters HS graduation and so I was none stop in getting things ready for her, but I am so grateful for my sister Margie who set up the reception after. I don't think I could have made it without her, I LOVE YOU SIS, and THANK YOU
Everything went beautifully.
anyway as soon as I get pictures I'll try and post one. Also not long ago my husband and son went to another wedding, for one of my sons best friends (since Kindergarten days) of course I am just to tired to go again but they did take a gift from us.
It is Saturday evening here in Kansas City and just finished a mile and half walk. Had WI this morning, and was absolutely thrilled to be down another 1.2
. I really thought I would either show a gain or break even since Mother Nature is visiting. I always am a bit lax on Saturdays, since I WI first thing in the a.m., so may have been a bit too lax (BBQ'd here at home and had friends over), but did go walk with the hubby and "babies" after everyone left, so I'm not going to beat myself up over it. Will get back OP tomorrow and stay nose to the grindstone all week.
I'm doing really well to do my mile and half without passing out! That's fantastic!!
That's how I feel a lot of the time anyway. I think that the worst part of it is the loneliness--does anyone else feel that way or is it just me? I have great people around me--my mother, sister, boyfriend, sister-in-law, friends--but I still don't feel like I can talk to them about how I feel about this.
I also managed to fall prey to a pot of deep purple coleus and some orange and yellow marigolds that I think will look nice together. I'm hoping it won't rain tomorrow so I can get them planted.
That always makes me feel less left out!
ya bunches!

We went to a HUGE landscape place. We took a look at some flagstone, and I found a really nice pattern. It is red with some tan and dark reds mixed in. I told James it almost looked like the surface of Jupiter. They let us take home a nice size piece so I could lay it in my grass. BEAUTIFUL! It's called Grand Canyon. We got sand ordered and it will be delivered this Friday morning so we can use the Tractor to scoop it up rather than have poor James use the wheel barrel. Much faster and it saves his back hehehehe.... Now we're just relaxing for a bit, having some lunch, and then we're going to head back out to the yard and do some more work. This is going to take a while to do, so we've got our hands full for .... well... we're hoping to be done by summer LOL!
