Uggh! i just feel so big today...been drinking my water...so hopefully that will flush this yucky feeling out of my system...
what are people's plans for mother's day? Like I said before, we are having a roast on saturday (a little beef roast, should be good) and then we are going to my grandmmother's on Sunday -- so, we can see my mom, my grandma and my aunt (who is everyone's Godmother - mine, both of my kids') and...maybe Xanax will help me if I need to see my mother in law?? LOL!!! I haven't even discussed w/my hubby if he plans on seeing her...I made the comment we shoul send her a card "To Wicked B***h on Mother's Day, From Both" haha!!! Can you tell she isn't liked much?? Well, at Grandma's house they are having pizza, pasta salad and I am taking a green salad..only thing I should eat, ya know?? My hubby and my grandfather and uncle are playing golf that day.
Okay, enough right now, I will check back later..I have to work today (argh!) from 2-8pm...I feel bad for those of you who work 5 days a week and normal hours. I only have to work 3 days a week for a total of 19 hours...I am lucky and I know it.

That was taken on my birthday weekend in early April. So glad you like the veggie info. I've really been amazed at how many veggies I've come to like! You know what sounds disgusting but is phenomenal? That greens and turnips recipe I posted in the recipe forum. It's from the Mooswood Cookbook (have you ever been there, Adia? It's up in Ithaca). You really have to roast the turnips until the ends are dark brown to make them sweet, but they come out amazing and are so good with the greens and it has so many nutrients you feel like you are feeding every cell in your body!
