  • Hi mtbchick,

if you mean Ilene's FitDay site, it's a free website for tracking your food intake. There's also software avialable from the same company for $30 if you're more comfortable doing it without getting online.

the website is http://fitday.com/ and registration is free. It is a bit of a pain to measure & track everything, but it helps me to stay on track. I also find it handy to calculate weight watchers points for foods if it's in their database and I don't have the nutrition info handy.

  • Weight loss!!!
    Well-my first week back on the points plan-lost 4.6!!! 165.2-160.6 and 25.6lbs to go!!! Once I hit 150 I won't have to pay anymore-whoohoo!!!!
  • Hi everyone. I'm also a lifer who has let things slide over the past year. I've been posting on the WW Lifetime thread too, along with AustinGal, but sure could use some extra support -- I'll take it anywhere I can get it.

Someone was asking how to include a weight tracker. Go to User CP at the top of the forum page and click on Edit Signature. It should be fairly easy from there.

  • Oh, goodie, A home for us little wanderers!

Another lifer who fell off the wagon checking in. Life got busy, I got sloppy. I got back on the wagon 13 days ago and have lost 6 pounds so far, but another 16 to go to meet my ww goal and another 24 for my personal goal.

This time I'm trying to concentrate less on the scale and more on other things. My first mini-goal is to be able to wear a certain pair of jeans. My longer-term goal is this little black dress hanging in the back of my closet. The last time I wore it my BF damn near cancelled our dinner reservations - I'd kill to get that kind of reaction from him again!

I have always depised exercising, yet this time I find the more often I do it, the more I crave it. I started by walking 2 miles a day and upped it to 3 yesterday. My water consumption started slowly, but is getting up to where it should be. I'm trying really hard to do the small things that all add up. I know that my eating habits have to change for the long run and I know I have to balance things in such a way that I don't feel deprived all the time. In just 2 weeks I feel much better and have much more energy - that's great motivation as I can only imagine how I'll feel leaner and meaner!

Good luck to all of us and we continue this journey, and congrats to all who have taken the first steps in making ourselves healthier.
  • The strangest thing has happened over the last few days....

I knew when I started this journey it would be a series of baby steps. I promised myself I would do 3 things: I'd exercise 3X/week. (something I did for one brief period in my life) I'd drink water. (ok, 10 cups of coffee doesn't really count ) And I'd *think* about what I was putting in my mouth.

Over the past 2 weeks I've exercised all but one day (and I was away on a business trip during this time), I'm drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day without even thinking about it, and with the exception of one night when I made a conscious decision to go over, I've been able to stick to 21 points a day.

All the things I've compained about hating are becoming much easier - some almost second nature. I so wish I'd done this 30 pounds ago....
  • Hi everyone.

I'm biting the bullet and returning to regular, weekly weigh-ins starting tomorrow, Saturday. I am not looking forward to standing on the scale, but I need to do it NOW before things really get out of hand. By my own calculation, I'm about 15 lbs over my WW goal of 147, however I've always had a personal goal of anything under 140. I'm 5' 7" and have plenty of fat on these bones so I don't think that's unrealistic.

Anyway, I plan to post here regularly. I like the idea of having the support of other lifers who have fallen off track. Wish me luck!
  • I weighed in on Saturday at 160.2 - 13.2 over goal. Actually, the maximum weight for my height is 160, so technically I could change my goal and attend free of charge, but I don't think that would be wise. It would be a license to stay where I am, and I'm uncomfortable at this weight. Have a big underinflated tire around my middle that's interfering with things.

Goals for the week are to 1) drink water 2) exercise 3) eat enough to keep my body from burning muscle.
