L144S, eight pounds is great! Is it from being so busy or have you been eating less?
Dotti, so sorry to hear about your MIL. Will she be OK on her own or will she be coming back to your house? I hope she can manage on her own.
It's a glorious Spring day here although it is still below freezing at night. I finally have a dry basement! There was just no help available for cleanup because of the flooding disaster in the Village so I did it a bit at a time. There are still some ruined boxes down there but they are dry now and can be sorted and pitched later.
My brother David came for a two day visit this week and we had a wonderful time. He was showing off his new car, an Infiniti G35, and we tooled around a lot. I also cooked the most fabulous prime rib I've ever done! That's Dave's very favourite meal and he was very impressed. I've not seen him one on one for years.
Today my respite care worker comes to stay with Harry and I intend to go to town to check out garden centres to see what's new. I just might pick up a plant or six!
Sarah was here yesterday and we did a good morning of cleanup. She won't be back until Monday but I'll dab away at a bit more before then. It's Syrup Festival weekend so the weekend will be too busy.Have a super Thursday and a nice ease into the weekend.
