Hi everyone! Sorry, not much time lately. I really jammed last week with jobs. Car payments and cell phones, ya know????

I'm still without a dishwasher and we need to go back out today and pick out another mattress. Long story.

Anyway, Honey and I are going to see a play tonight. These very amateur actors put on quite a show. Always doing comedies so when they flub up, it's just funnier! The nice part is that it is at an FOE club so the chairs are just banquet chairs with no arms. I'll actually fit!!! You get dinner as well so it will be a fun night out. I haven't told Honey, but I rented a jacuzzi room at a local hotel for after. I found one with nice big tubs while looking for accommodations for Spring Fling II. I had been looking for one somewhat close to home anyway, so it was nice to kill two birds with one stone. This one is just a couple of miles from here. I figured I would toss him the key while we're at dinner.

BTW, CD: I'm the one you're supposed to tell about Fling. I'm sorry you won't be able to make it. We would have loved to meet you in person but I can certainly understand the "starving college student" syndrom having just gotten two boys out of that stage! I'm glad to hear things are going better.


Well, girls, I hate to fly by again, but I do have to get out of here and find a mattress and dishwasher and the play is at 6:00. Not much time in the day when you sleep in, I guess.

2Cute you are more than welcome. I wouldn't say that I'm that popular, just that dumb, or maybe just uninformed. I didn't know you were supposed to keep your mail box clean. I had messages there all the way back to 2001, and that is probally when the site crashed or I'd have them older. Never cleaned it out!!!

Afternoon, all... I can't believe I didn't manage to stop by yesterday to say thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! Actually the first day since the beginning of the Feb. challenge that I haven't posted.

So.... T H A N K S !

My birthday was not bad. I ended up staying up Friday night quite late with a friend who's in crisis, and then again Saturday night. But we also went to dinner (Chinese.... lots of veggies) and went out to hear a band I really like (The Tossers, Irish punk from Chicago). Tonight there's more live music I want to go out and hear, so that'll mark an end, I think, to my birthday weekend. I do like making birthdays extend for a few days.

I've resolved that I have to make my book close to as high a priority as weight loss. This is going to be a challenge for me. I've been doing better at a lot of things, starting to make some real changes in habits, but I've been having a lot of trouble focusing on anything else. So I hope that I'm going to be able to focus on both weight loss and finishing the book on deadline (June 1) without screwing up either project.

Hope everyone's doing well... it seems to have been a kind of quiet weekend.

Had an "Oops Day" yesterday. Went to Wendys and made bad choices. Now I don't have any Flex Points for the week.

Now I think I'm coming down with a bug ... scratchy throat, stuffy head. I'm hoping it's allergies. I'll know by tomorrow.

OK Whining over. I've got tomorrow off. No matter what I'm going to stay OP.

Wish I could take credit for the 2cute elephant but our gracious Barbg gave her to me... with a couple more. They will be coming soon.

Just taking time to check in here and say that I'm still hanging in there. Work has been very stressful and very hard, and very busy, but in a way it has also been very satisifying. I said if we could make it till the end of the month we'd be okay, well, we've almost made it. If the last week goes as well as the others this month we will do okay. Then next month will be rough too, but not as bad as Feb, then starting in April things should level out. Cross your fingers for us, or if you pray, say a few prayers.

I've been a little lax in the food and exercise areas this month, just havent' have the mindset or the energy to put much effort into either one, but tomorrow starts a new week and I've got great plans for it.

Angela, sorry I missed your birthday, but glad you had a great weekend. Sorry I'm not into doing other replies, but keep up all the good work everyone.

Good morning everyone, That tremor you felt this weekend was me falling off the diet wagon! ARGGGGG! I am lucky though, since this is post 29, no one will read this and find out that I forgot to follow my own advice!

My daughter and family came for the weekend and while that is no excuse for eating that is WHAT I did. I am so mad at myself this morning! BUT, I am putting that behind me (literally) and doing my plan.
